One of my fav "secret" places amazing people and always a great time. And made to feel welcome. Just a small town bar and tasted like family. Found this place years ago from a busy if mine. And have visited often when our fishing or just because. Must check out the ice bar.

Been going to the Rooster for several years, for a bucket, keno, and popcorn, small-town setting, a great place to get away from Omaha. Most of the bartenders are great there is a couple that is a pain in the a** they act like it's a chore to serve you or write a keno ticket. Definitely would be out more often if weren't for them. Being in my 60's I've been around.....

Whether your from Utan,Ne the same small town this bar is at or not you get treated like they donnot want your service. The 5-6 times we have visited,and with the couple who live in utan everytime it's been consistent with how they're service is,its terrible their unhappy rude folks who act like your a bother and shouldn't be ther especially the lady I believe her name is Caroline maybe? Last time my wife and I were in there it was around 11pm with a few friends after my best friend who was killed just days before and was from utan and she knew of him and knew of the accident,you would of thought she would of been a little more accommodating or showed a little more respect to the his living wife we were with but that didnt change much. They really could have something good out there and could be a gold mind for the owner but its very small minded boring and the workers are rude. Go to Bucks bar and Grill they treat you well and great people. Bucks Venice,Ne right by Utan,Ne
Stopped for drinks and peanuts. Really like the atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Had just eaten but will try it again when able

Best bar the west of the Mississippi! My dad and I stopped in to see where my grandma grew up and this place is clean, great service. Cheap but very good drinks. This bar is hands down the best bar I've been too. If you heading by or going from Omaha to Lincoln for a game it's worth a stop. Great place!

Very nice bartenders. Helped use make a different shot and didn't hate us on a Friday. Can tell it is a local hangout, a lot of people came in and everyone would yell out "Hi" people were nice.
