We are from out of town and we went for dinner. The waitress was very pleasant, and had a great sense of humor ! Everyone in our party of five, and enjoyed their meals and their appetizers.
I tried this place late last year and wasn't really impressed. The food itself was pretty bland and missing flavor. And for the price I was paying it should've been more enjoyable. I recently went back with my family since everywhere around the lake was busy and we had a great time. I got the lobster mac and cheese and it was huge but delicious. Even if the lobster wasn't fresh and was frozen it still tasted great. My dad got the whole belly clam platter, he said...
I had not been to Dockside in nearly 2 years....I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, portion size, service & atmosphere. To be perfectly honest, my prior experience was not terribly memorable, so I had not returned. I hope that my most recent visit represents the "new normal" because it was awesome !!!
