Huge portions and very fresh, even the tenders were handmade. We got a 2 way plate,fried pickles,and a chicken finger and honestly,the 2 way plate would have been plenty enough for 2. Service was very quick and polite. Be hungry when you come,you are gonna need it!

First time stopping in here today, should of just stopped by hannafords and made lunch. Fries were good, tenders were tough and shrimp was previously frozen or something and just gross. End of the year but I didn’t know that mattered with quality of seafood. I didn’t read anywhere it was fresh but assumed due to reviews.. maybe a sandwich would of been a better pick, probably won’t find out.

The best part is the location. Food was bland. We got the fisherman's platter. The seafood was crispy with the exception of the white fish. White fish was mushy seemed more like the texture of pollack rather than haddock which is usually flakey. I also mentioned I had an allergy to paprika and they still put paprika all over the cole slaw which was in contact with the fish, had to carefully pick around.

On Labor Day went to Pop’s at 4 pm. No lines ?? No Lines because they were out of every item they are famous for. No clams, scallops, lobster rolls, calamari, no seafood plates. This is really unacceptable for a business that has been serving customers for years on Labor Day. They were open until 8 pm and out of food at 4 pm. Very bad planning and customer service from an establishment who should have been better prepared. Very disappointed.

First time it pops wanted to see you what the fuss is about I didn’t think it was all that great. I’ve had better. I don’t need to ever go back there. I don’t understand why people think this is one of the best places is beyond me. I mean, it didn’t even have much flavor to it. Got a fried seafood plate.

Outstanding food and uniquely New England style seafood stand! Walk up ordering, inside and outside seating, right by the water!
Got a large haddock sub and a small haddock sandwich paid $5 more for the large and got the exact size piece of fish pointed this out to them and all they had to say well that was a big piece for the small. I have been going there for years and not o ly did they screw me on the sandwich it was the worse one i e er had the haddock was not good and the batter was terrible. After years and years of us going there just for the haddock sandwich they ha e now lost my business and i will be sure to tell e eryone. Sad they should have offered something to make it right but took the low road and left me with my inemic sub with a tiny piece of bad fish. And the onion rings were terrible.
