Went to lunch today with friends. I ordered the lobster roll and it was one of the best love rolls I’ve had. That’s saying a lot living near the coast. The pickle chips were amazing as well.!

We went yesterday for an early dinner. It was NOT crowded. We walked in and a blond woman spoke to us about seating. The 3 of us went to sit outside and she said she'd be right out with menus. We sat for 15 minutes and another dark haired women came to ask how long we'd been waiting, said sorry they were busy and that our waitress would be right out with water too.The blond came back and said oh I didn't know you were my customers, and then walked away. Waited another 7 minutes, no one else showed. We left and won't be back. We had hoped the service would be better since the Dockside had such horrible service. Don't waste your time or money. Thers plenty of other great spots in the area.

The views are incredible. The staff was friendly but had a few hiccups but nothing serious. The food was the unfortunate part. Everything was just very bland. I really want to give a five star. But this was only one experience. The drinks were The shining light they were absolutely delicious. We will be back and give it another shot for sure!

Hey guys! I was just in on Friday. I had the Buffalo garlic parm, and they delicious! I sat on the deck with the awesome view of the lake. There were 2 girls sharing responsibility for the deck and they both were great servers even though they were new employees! Well done! Can’t wait to return!

Everything was fantastic, but it was a little slow getting drink refills from the bar.

The burgers were fantastic. Great service, and cold drinks!

Cute little pub with a relaxed vibe.
We stopped in for our first visit and it was pretty quiet. The place is small but cozy, with decent views and big deck energy. The menu is on the smaller side, but the drinks were good, and the po’ boy was definitely the highlight for me—super tasty!

The bartender was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall good vibe. Parking is limited, so you may need to park across the street near the boat area, but it wasn’t a huge issue.

One thing worth noting: I overheard the bartender talking with the manager and learned that they allow well-behaved dogs out on the porch—and even bring them water! As a dog mom, that’s a big win for me and definitely a reason I’d come back.

We went on a slow day, though the rest of Alton seemed jammed. Fries were good, Pub burger was incredible (bacon on top was 🥰 and I could only finish half of it), fish and chips great, $1 wings were big, not skimpy, we got 30 of them (and ate em all!). Try all the sauces and dry rub. Everyone in our party left with a doggie box. Portions sizable. Get the rings too! We'll be back with more summer guests 😋

Went in today for a quick bite to eat after getting off our boat. Husband ordered the fish and chips, I ordered the buffalo wings with a side of blue cheese. Took a slice of their carrot cake home for dessert later on. They make all of their desserts in house. What a hidden gem of a place. The entire meal was outstanding. Wait staff overly attentive with vibrant personalities! Job well done! Looking forward to the new outdoor deck and enjoying a meal there!

First time there, but not last! Food was great and service was friendly. The Alton Bay Long Island was exceptional and my wife liked the Cottage Cosmo. We highly recommend you try going there!

Good service, good food, great view of the bay. Can't go wrong with that combo!

My husband and I love the warm pretzel bites and wontons! Friendly staff as always. The three different types of mini cheesecake slices for dessert are incredible! Please top it off with an effort to sound proof - its too loud in there and consider adding a gas or electric fireplace for ambiance. Local memorabilia decorating the walls with photos of the Alton Bay Water Bandstand built in 1928; the planes and snowmobiles during ice over on the lake; boats under the fireworks in Alton Bay during summer and photos of the Mt. Washington pulling out of Alton Bay would be terrific.
