I’ve been going to this establishment since my childhood. This place represents a piece of Americana. It’s family owned and has been in the bay community forever.
Every thing here is great

This dinner looks great! I got out of surgery and my husband ordered me the fisherman's platter. I remember mentioning to my husband that the shrimp ?and the clams tasted so fresh and clean? the scallops , tartar everything was great!! I took a small bite of the Haddock and it tasted extremely fishy ? ?, I've grown up on seafood right here in New England and only eat haddock due to not liking other fish. Typically this means the fish has or is going bad. So, when I called to tell them the woman that answered the phone began trelling me how there's no way, I took that out myself and I could check it and I've sold a lot of it today etc... basically calling me a liar. Very sad that was the response I thought I finally had found a great place to get seafood in the Lakes Region. Coming from a place of caring and concern is always a better way to respond to such things. The bill came to $36.89 and if not fit the fish and being treated like a liar it would have been worth even more. Really too bad. 47 years doesn't mean you stop caring about your quality or customers.
Most of my food was perfect and they are above caring that it's not all to satisfaction. Such a shame!

Love their ice cream and their Italian ices. The Hart’s Italian ice that used to be sold in the Weirs is now at Shibley’s and we don’t want it to go away! They have watermelon, piña colada, root beer, and other flavors. It’s the perfect texture.

Also, as a little side note, Shibley’s lobster rolls are $25 which is reasonable as it turns out. Pop’s are $28, and nearly everywhere else is north of $30. Sawyer’s smallest size lobster roll is $18 and the rest are higher.

It's a side of the road establishment. Great service and great ice cream but you're a few feet from the road. Walk over to the bay and eat it there.

Always great food and service! We go here as a family at least twice a year. We usually all get the chicken finger dinner with fries.

Parking: There's parking in front of the location as well as on both sides of the road.

Kid-friendliness: Of course they are kids friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's not steps and there are picnic tables spaced decently apart so I'd say wheelchair access is obvious.

Went there with 7of us..I got the haddock and onion rings. Took so long to get my food and when I finally did, the fish was so dry and the onion rings had an obscene amount of salt on it. I tried to force some out down but couldn't. I brought my not even half eaten food back to the window. The cook came over and was beyond rude. Telling me she cooks this all the time, it's never dry. Offered to make a new one for me and then offered me an ice cream in place of my meal. When I politely asked for my money back she says no refunds on. Half eaten food. I barely ate half and it was still hot. Never again will I bring my family there

Great food and good variety. Quick pick up and you get to enjoy eating at the outside tables.

The only con is the parking situation. Trying to leave is very difficult.

We had ice cream, and they stayed open past closing time to accommodate a long line of patrons.

Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch during bike week. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with kraut and a small order of onion rings. The Reuben was probably the best Reuben I’ve had in a long time but unfortunately the onion rings had a weird batter/crust to them. Very off putting but I still ate them. If the onion rings had the right crisp and batter used, I would give this review a 5 out of 5. Overall the experience was good and it was nice to sit out at the picnic tables and watch everyone ride by. I’d come back for just the Reuben itself!
