I had a cappuccino with a pumpkin cream danish. Both were good! 👍 Very friendly service! Lots of choices! If you're on a diet I would not recommend coming here because you will want to break it! I liked the aesthetics of this bakery. It is basically a house but that's what makes it feel more welcoming. Plenty of places to sit. I liked the use of branches from possibly white birch trees as decorations through the building. I recommend a visit!

Once you've had baked goods and desserts from a nice bakery, grocery store bakeries don't measure up! I have ordered a pastry/dessert platter for a party and was happy! I go in here at random times to get treats and breakfast items and everything is so delicious!

THE CROISSANTS ARE TO DIE FOR !!! No kidding! The coffee shop is of highest quality. The staff is very professional and know what they're doing and there is plenty of room to relax and spread out as you have your morning croissant lots of good baked items as well! Besides that, they do have a small gift shop area

The bakery is very good. The coffee is made with residential coffee machines and is nothing special. The staff is really nice. Wish they would upgrade and make a really good coffee and I would be in here everyday. Alton needs a good local coffee shop other than aroma joes and Dunkin’s.

The Jaws themed birthday cake for my husband was a hit! Not only was it beautifully decorated it was also delicious. The moist marble cake was enveloped in a delicious creamy frosting that had the perfect amount of sweetness. The service was amazing as well. I highly recommend Sweet Caroline’s bakery for your next gathering.

I have driven by Sweet Caroline's so many times I can't count and now I have stopped and had two items that I took home. My Judie loves her. Mississippi mud pie. I got a strawberry Danish the danish I ate and it was wonderful fresh and very strawberry and Judie loved her Mississippi mud pie fresh and chocolatey. I give this a five star rating because the young lady who took care of me was very friendly and very accommodating it was a hard choice. There was a lot of other things I wanted there. My sister and I had the chocolate explosion cake, and an iced mocha from here and they were absolutely delicious. Probably the best slice of cake I’ve had in a while, and the mocha was on point. Owners were super nice, and the atmosphere was so calm when we were eating our delicious cake. We will be back for more of these delicious treats!

While cake shopping for my graduation party, I realized how surprisingly difficult it was to find a bakery willing to do a whipped cream frosting for a strawberry shortcake. But Sweet Caroline had no hesitation.
Not only was the cake absolutely delicious (my guests couldn’t stop raving about it), but they also brought my Pinterest vision to life perfectly. Thank you so much, Sweet Caroline, for exceeding my expectations and adding such a beautiful (and tasty!) touch to my special day.

Once you know, you’ll always want to go! This place is a dream bakery to discover in little Alton Village. Next to Hannafords and you won’t even go in to the big store for sweet treats once you find this gem. Only wish I found out sooner!
