Delicioso 😍
Mac and cheese still some of the best in the area and the hush puppies were chef's kiss 🤌
It was schnitzel Thursday and I was pretty psyched about that. Schnitzel was great, very crispy. Loved it ❤️🦅🇺🇸

I'm not from any part of the United States where barbecue is nearly a religion, so take that for what it's worth. Smokehaus is the best barbecue I've had in New Hampshire, by a mile. It's reasonably priced as well. Brisket is excellent. Sometimes the lean brisket is a little dry, but the mixed/fatty cuts make up for it. Fries and mac n cheese are excellent too. There are multiple sauce choices as well, with the sweet not being too sweet.

A vendor brought our facility lunch on 3/4/25. It was AMAZING. Ive been to many barbecue places and this was the best brisket and pulled pork I ever had.

We don’t go out for BBQ much because we make our own but we finally stopped and glad we did! Great brisket!! Loved that they had a kid pulled pork option for our son, and the sauce variety was great! Will definitely be back!
Amazing food, all of it. Nicest staff, great atmosphere. Very reasonable prices

I ordered three plates today to go and on my way back home, which was about 3 1/2 miles away. We realize that an entire plate was missing. We had the meats the mac & cheese, and also the cornbread. We did pay for three plates and phoned them to let them know that we were coming back and they did put that plate together for us, but by the time we get back home to eat everything was cold and the meat was dried out. It was just overall a very bad experience. I have had very good experiences in the past, but today was just horrible.

We came in for the very first time yesterday. Parking was difficult, finding a seat was difficult and when we finally found a seat at the bar we got up to order and an employee took one of our seats to eat his lunch. We both ordered the 2 meat platter. Our food was lukewarm. The ribs and pulled pork were extremely fatty. The brisket was extremely dry and over cooked however had adaquate flavor once it was drown in bbq sauce, which we were happy that they had many flavors to choose from. The hush puppies had no flavor. The corn bread was cold, hard, and flavorless. The baked beans and collard greens were the only things that were worth eating. Unfortunately, the entire afternoon after eating there, we were both sick and taking turns in the bathroom. As a couple that enjoys eating out, this is one place we will never go back to nor recommend.

Baked beans are the best I’ve ever had, and the ribs are also great. Hot wings are very unique and worth a try. Bbq sauces are also amazing.
Best sliced brisket in New England?
Classic easy going bbq atmosphere. Came on a Sunday after 5 - had called ahead knowing the offerings would be limited.
Got very wet brisket - 1 lb, and a pulled pork dinner w baked beans and collards. Daughter got the Mac and cheese - she loved it. Very very cheesy!
I asked and all meats and sauces are gluten free / gf.
Best brisket I’ve had in New England. Great bark, very wet, but not too fatty. Sauces are unique and good. Beans and collards were phenomenal - the greens were a little watery since end of the day.
Pulled pork not always my favorite despite living in North Carolina for 20 years - there’s had good bark and good moisture. Not too dry. Again, the sauces kicked it up - had the sweet, spicy and tangy.
Will definitely go back, highly recommend. For those who’ve been to Que Shack in Durham - similar feel. Brisket reminds me of Opie’s in West Texas or the original Stubb’s.
Staff was super friendly, we got take out but then stayed to eat inside. They could use a soda fountain instead of the New Hampshire style refrigerated bottles. Fresh made tea would go a long way too. Nice that they’ve got the beers on tap - no GF alcoholic drink options.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free gf options are known, not listed on menu though.
