Just go there!! ??I was lucky enough to go to Josephs a year or so before Covid and the place was Amazing...a true old school Italian restaurant feel (as Billy Joel says...a bottle of red, a bottle of white.. lol). We were part of the Ragnar Reach the Beach race and were there with 12 people, so everyone tried everything and we all shared meals....everything I sampled was perfectly delicious including a basic crispy fresh salad with that great italian dressing... and the warm bread ? . My dish, the eggplant, chicken parm was melt in your mouth good and the meat sauce was bread soakingly worth it.Speaking to the owner here......My only wish, and im begging you ?, is to have that restaurant, eat in there vibe back again!! It was soo good and such a great memory, theres nothing like stepping into an atmosphere such as Josephs and taking in the place and the meal in front of you, leaving you with such a full stomach and a happy heart!!#dieharditalianfromofftheboatitaly

Fantastic food and very friendly owners/staff. Pro-tip: Call in your order and you won’t have to wait (or if not, you can just wait and enjoy a fun conversation with the staff).

Make spaghetti at home. Not worth the cost. Holy cow. Got the bolognese with spaghetti (that’s how it comes) and they put dry meatballs on top. Like what? Maybe they were busy ..

The pizzas were incredible! Totally not your typical pizza house - a bit of an artisan/gourmet spin on some traditional versions. Will be back again!

This is apparently takeaway only, no seating. Nice little store for Italian ingredients. As tourists, we had no food prep ability, so moot. It's about 15 minutes north of city on the way to Mt. Washington. We went here as other sit down restaurants were a mob scene. Very little wait here and was very efficient. We did three pizza's, white, pepperoni, and sausage. There was only one size (~12") pizza offered. But they were only around $10-12, so with tip ~$40 for all three. This is the cheapest lunch or dinner you will find in the area from what I saw. Get cheap wine/beer at Hannaford in town and ergo, you have the best value for budget dining.Spouse said I smelled like garlic that day after after eating the white pizza, but the flavor was excellent and garlic smell was a bonus! We saved the other pizzas for the trail and even a day later, they were very good, considering.Parking: Use yah blinka' when turning off the highway.

Good food, excellent Italian market. We got some delicious take home food that was really good. Homemade pot pies, lasagna, mac-n-cheese, San Marzano tomatoes, hard to find pasta. Highly recommend you add this stop fill your cupboard with Italian goodness and your freezer with wholesome comfort foods. This is a special place.

Got takeout tonight. Here visiting White Mountains. My husband and I first time trying this place. We got the garlic chicken and broccoli. I could have made it way better. So disappointed spent almost 50 dollars and i give this meal a 2 on scale 1-10. Barely any garlic or spices. It was so BLAND!! Its like they just dumped spaghetti in a bowl with no flavor. Thru a few broccoli with bland chicken in a bowl. Never again

My wife and I are visiting NH from MA on a week vacation. We rolled into town on Friday and were looking for some food to have for dinner. We found this place is only a few minutes away from where we are staying and decided to try it out. We both got the Italian chicken dinner and it was fantastic. Due to having covid about a year ago, I never fully got my sense of taste back, I lost about 25% of my ability to taste food. I could hardly tell my taste was dulled when eating here, which is nice because food doesn't usually taste very flavorful due to my loss of taste. Everything was full of flavor and was delicious. My wife and I were both impressed with the portions and quality, I personally loved the taste of the sause. I was stuffed after eatting but it was so good I know I could have eaten more if I was left unsupervised haha. We will be back for more during our stay, and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for being spaghetti artists.

Food seemed over priced for what you get but that seems to be the running theme for eating out in NH. We spent $50 for 2 pizzas and a dinner salad. Its take out only. All pizzas are only 10" and my pizza had too much sauce, all the way to the very edge of the crust. Canned mushrooms.

My husband and I both got the Italian chicken and we were blown away by the flavors in the dish. You can tell the sauce and herbs are fresh and made in house. Kinda sad we don't live anywhere near here and just got it on vacation. I would love to eat there all the time. They give a generous portion of store made bread that is delicious as well.A different night I tried the shrimp scampi and they definitely cook with the customer in mind. Most places you have to peel the tails off the shrimp and it's messy. Here they do that for you and you get a ton of the little shrimps. It was delightful. Good flavor. I usually like a veggie mixed in like tomatoes or asparagus but it was ok without it.
