Pros: convenient to N Conway, nice staff, clean, heated pool, good size room Cons: Murphy Bed was a double bed not Queen Size, very poor mattress. No daily housekeeping (I guess we are spoiled). No USB ports so bring your charging block. This rating is based mainly on the bed. Not getting a good night sleep and getting up with an aching back hurts a vacation. Probably would stay somewhere else next time.

We stayed here for two nights and had two other families meeting up with us on 2nd night out intention was to spend all our time together as a group onsite at the hotel using the amenities! Sat afternoon was spent in the pool which is great nice and large lots of seating options hot tubs are nice! Unfortunately it started to storm and rain so we had to come inside and were sadly disappointed that the onsite sit down restaurant suddenly closed without advance warning for Saturday night not sure why I’m guessing staffing however they did have several staff members tending the bar and acting essentially as bouncers not allowing people to come in and sit down in the restaurant. This was very disappointing as our large group of three families had to go out in the rain storm to find another restaurant for dinner thankfully a local restaurant was able to accommodate but it would have been much nicer to not have to leave the hotel as we specifically chose this hotel over many other options due to the availability of a nice sit down restaurant onsite. We stayed in a loft room which was fine would have made more sense for couch in upstairs to also be a pull out. Overall the hotel was fine but lack of staffed amenities was disappointing and lowered their rating.

Great hotel. Great rooms. We even had a room with a balcony to sit. It is very convenient to have the cafe there for breakfast and or lunch and the restaurant for dinner. We had the best stay there. The concierge name Judy was the staple to our visit here. We stayed for the weekend to go to storyland which was 7 minutes down the road. We already had tickets to it. Judy was the best as she gave advice to have breakfast with the characters and tea with Cinderella. Having little kids we booked it and they loved it. They couldn’t wait to come back to the hotel and tell Judy all about it. I wish there were more people like her at hotels. On our departure my kids went to look for Judy to say their goodbyes and even get a picture with her. (She’s famous in their books). They also told her we will be back when we go to Santa’s village or any stay and will be looking for her. Like I said if you go there and need any information or advice go speak with Judy.

Stayed at the Grand Summit for a family trip to the area. Storyland was 7 minutes away and Settlers Green 15 mins away. The hotel was great. Room was clean, check in was easy. The pool is AMAZING. Extremely large. Most heated pools are still cold, this one was not. Two hot tubs. Hotel has two options for food: a cafe type that does breakfast and lunch and serves till late afternoon and a restaurant for at night. It was nice to not have to leave to go get food. We ate at both and found them very good. The breakfast is not complimentary but it was the same price as if you go to a local diner which I was pleasantly shocked by. Freshly made omelets. Assumed it would be more expensive being right there. Will absolutely stay at again when we go to Santa's Village (About 50 mins away)

My husband and I just came back from a nice weekend at the Grand Summit Hotel. The hotel is well located and very clean. We rent the studio and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi after spending our days at hiking. But our stay wouldn't be so perfect without the help of the concierge Judy, What a lovely lady ! After we checked in she helped us planning our days. Showing us what to do and where to hike ( after asking us what we would like to do and what kind of hiking we would like to do). She also recommend us some great restaurants. Because of her help we were able do to a lot of stuff in short period of time. She gaves us so many good advises. When we were back at the hotel she was there asking us if we had great time. The service she provided made a big difference in our stay, Every hotel should have concierge like Judy !!! We were sad to leave but we will definitely come back ! Thanks again Judy for all your help ! We had a blast because of you !!

Bad bed! Lovely lobby, nice little cafe and Great outdoor pool and hot tub!! Room with murphy bed was set up nicely with a kitchenette and two sinks in bathroom. Mattress on bed ruined the stay. Also, off season Monday, Tuesday and pub is closed.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and ready on early arrival. Bar / restaurant had nice selection of food and beverages. Breakfast grill was okay, but a little overpriced, but on the mountain that’s to be expected. Pool and hot tub area was a little crowded, but expected during school vacation week. Bed was so close to where you need to walk was too tight. 6-8 inches to get into the room. I kept banging my ankle on the bed frame. Overall a nice stay.

At Grand Summit Attitash, Judy was great help to my family tonight. Thank you Judy. Kids had fun skiing and swimming in the outdoor heated pool. Vail needs to open the trail named wandering skis, so everyone can ski back to the hotel. The restaurant was solid tonight. There pizza has consistently good. Staff at the restaurant was great.

I booked in August for New Years. We’re not allowed to check in before 4 pm. There was no house keeping. The front desk couldn’t answer basic questions about the ski resort. The room was clean but run down and old. The room heater was loud and the bar/restaurant closed at 11 pm New Years Eve.

Functional adequate spartan experience. Not exactly a first class hotel—-mainly a collection of timeshares. Tried to upgrade from our RCI timeshare and were initially told that, although there were plenty of upgrade’s available that, with RCI it was not possible to upgrade—-with any additional payment. Next day tried to upgrade again and was told only the largest room (penthouse) was available (which was not what we heard the day before) and we were told we would have to pay full price and leave the RCI space without anything in return. The representative was not willing to reduce the price and no one was available to authorize anything else. This was Xmas weekend. The “hotel” is empty. If I owned the hotel or a timeshare here I’d want to make money——even if it wasn’t a full price. #missed_opportunity Pretty foolish way to run a business Did I mention that we’re on the mountain and we have to take a shuttle to ski Attitash?

We had stayed at the hotel before a few times. The highlight of our visits has always been Judy, the concierge person! She is genuinely friendly, a true asset to the hotel, always very helpful with our questions, suggestions, etc ! We've certainly enjoyed the staff members, the cleanliness of the hotel, the fabulous outdoor pool. Viewing the mountain landscape is delightful! We look forward, especially to Judy's services, in the near future!

Very clean, comfortable rooms with some updates and other updates in progress. We stayed for a week in August when our accommodations at nearby Attitash Suites and Village did not work out. We stayed here about 12 years ago. Grand Summit is pretty much the same, but still clean and comfortable rooms for the area and very reasonable rates. The staff is friendly, the small breakfast/lunch kitchen provides great food while you chat with the chef. The heated outdoor swim out pool is the best family attraction - especially when it rains, which it seems to do every time we vacation in summer. Not much else for outdoor activity on site and no grills. If you have active teens, expect them to get antsy. However, if your goal is a clean, comfortable and NOT outdated room and hotel with nice workout space, large sauna, small game room - I'd stay here again over the outdated rooms which Attitash and other area hotels from North Conway on up offer at outrageous prices. After 15 years of staying at Attitash suites - I'd never stay there again. The grounds are the only attraction there with outdoor grills and safe areas for kids to roam, but the rooms are horrible overall (15 yrs and never the same room and always a crap shoot. I've stayed in some nicer units, but hardly ever available.) Grand Summit was leaps and bounds better. The were replacing the couches and furniture in their units while we were there. We had a 2 bedroom loft with skylight, balcony overlooking the pool, small kitchen and two bathrooms at a great rate for August. Perfect for us with two teen boys. I'd stay again. The area is more quiet than in years past. Expect restaurants to be closed weird days, expect to cook in or eat early at restaurants. Attitash mountain attractions (alpine slide, coaster, water slides etc) are closed. Check out Cranmore Mountain Adventures. It was very small scale, but up and coming with a brand new lodge etc. Walk around North Conway and discover some neat finds like the juice bar pictured. I recommend Red Fox Bar and Grille for dinner. We are picky, and the food is great! Allergy friendly - OPEN - and nice atmosphere. Not to be confused with the Red Jacket Resort restaurant - which is maybe why it took us 15 years to try it! I'll end with this - if you're on vacation and it rains, and you are stuck in your room - you will like your room! You can swim in a heated, outdoor pool and venture out. The area is more depressed either due to post COVID or just lack of "customers" in the summer months. But, my boys grew up vacationing in the white mountains, so we did it one more time! If I had to go back, I'd book at Grand Summit at Attitash and sit on a brand new couch next time!

Stayed here 2 nights. The location is close to most of the fall foliage places. The room was very large and very clean. We ate at the bar/restaurant one night and it was very good. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub were great. We will definitely stay there again.

I was planning a trip to stay , and then my grandmother 7 passed . When I called to cancel 6 days prior , I was surprisingly caught off guard at the unprofessional supervisor . She told me if I called two days ago she would refund all my money except the $50 fee. Excuse me but I didn’t know my gramma was going to pass away . So instead she charged me $350 to cancel . I get there is a policy , but how can you say that to me ? I think some circumstances that are beyond my control , she be allowed . I emailed asking for the GM to contact me , they never even emailed back . I will never stay here. Not a great look for business and I plan to spread the word .

Staff was excellent, room clean, shuttle was great! We had 2 kids and 2 adults in the room which was fine for the vacation. location was excellent, snow did not cooperate at that time of year for ski in, but it was still a great place to stay!
