We’ve always driven by, but had time and stopped a few weeks ago. The food was phenomenal and am now kicking myself for not going here sooner.

I personally would have liked the coffee a little stronger, but my breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Roadside breakfast cafe shake out of town with gravel parking to the front. Nothing to look at but excellent service by the staff and good rustic home style food. Would recommend.

The Carne Bowl is to die for. The homemade sausage is one of a kind with molasses in it!!!

Wow! Yes Wow! The place is great. The food is fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy combo. Pancakes on the side were fluffy and hot! 1st time here and this will be my go-to place.

Stopped in on a whim for some coffee after skiing, ended up having a whole lunch. Super fast and friendly place, and the food and coffee just hit the spot. I had Da' Bomb, a breakfast bowl with a hearty portion of super rich steak and loved it. My wife had the patty melt and said it was great. The onion straws were a great upgrade with the melt and splittable between the both of us.
Total bill was $45, which was super reasonable for all the food and we're definitely coming back the next time we're around.

Went on a Sunday morning and had a really disappointing experience. Our waitress (the older one) had a very snotty, unwelcoming attitude from the start. Before we were even finished or had a chance to ask for another coffee, she dropped off the check. When we politely let her know we wanted more coffee, she responded with even more attitude instead of basic courtesy.

Service like that completely ruins a breakfast outing. Because of how rude and bitter the service was, we chose not to leave a tip

Proceed at your own discretion to the Shack. We went for breakfast expecting the usual we've become accustomed to the last 18 years. Sadly it fell far short. Note that the dining room was not busy when we arrived nor did it become busy after we ordered. The omelet was heavy on mushrooms and tomatoes and very sparing on the proteins. The bacon was a hazard. Keep in mind we specifically asked for extra crispy bacon as we do not like the bacon rubbery. It was undercooked, rubbery, and some pieces were actually refrigerator cold when we received our plates. The garlic was not even sliced or minced. There were about 8 whole pieces in the omelet. I chose the the blueberry muffin bread as one of options with my plate and was surprised it carried an extra charge that was not communicated by the wait staff. The home fries were bland at best. They were on the cold side and looked like boiled potatoes that were squashed once on the plate. The bill was left on the table as we finished our plates- which we didn't finish obviously. A short time later a woman came by and said I'll leave this here when you're ready- putting down the cc device and just standing there staring at us. We asked if cash was acceptable and she said yes and walked away. Very odd behavior as this has never happened at any place we have dined at when we visit the valley every year. Sadly, it isn't the same place it used to be. The wait staff was mediocre and the food was subpar.

The greatest challenge with Sunrise Shack maybe just getting a table, but once you have one you will not be disappointed. My wife and I love their breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and egg benedicts. I really love the Smoked Salmon Benedict when they have it. Nice smoke salmon with perfectly cooked egg and with a very tasty holiday sauce on a crispy grilled English muffin. I also love the Jackpot omelet too, but ask to replace tomatoes with mushrooms, my version. And the Anadama toast is just awesome! The only negative thing I have noted, is some times the sausage patties have random buckshot(hard pieces) but have a nice spicy.

A cute little breakfast shack - would recommend before starting your day! This is our first time going here, and would definitely go back. A nice way to end our weekend stay.

Started off with a special of two little cinnamon rolls topped with a blueberry sauce filling, it was outstanding - I highly recommend!

I got biscuits and gravy shack style - something different that I would never get. It was actually very good! Portion wise was good, and I’m a big eater! For the kids we got them a pancake with scrambled eggs & homies. My son nearly ate his whole pancake!

Atmosphere was cute and cozy. I would recommend going early around 8 AM - as this place can get busy midmorning. Definitely come and get this place a try - it will be worth your wild!
