If you're not getting your cake from Fredrick's, then you're missing out. Their cakes are fabulous! I especially love their raspberry layer cake; it is delectable, and the frosting is not overly sweet like at other places I've tried. The pastries are fantastic as well—cream puffs, cookies, tarts, and so much more are waiting for you to enjoy! But be warned, things could get a little wild in the blink of an eye. I spent $65 on cake slices and cupcakes, but I have no regrets. I will definitely be going back for seconds!

If you are looking to purchase an overpriced cake that is as dry as the Sahara dessert and bland tasting with thick cement like icing then Frederick's is your bakery. A cake purchased at your local Market Basket or Hannaford bakery tastes much better and at 1/2 the price. Frederick's quality and pricing is a joke.

Honestly, absolutely the best bakery in the area. It is definitely expensive but not more expensive than most baked goods at bakeries nowadays. Everything I’ve gotten here (cakes for special occasions AND random treats picked up on a whim) have been beautiful and delicious. Of course there are batches that are moister vs drier but I really enjoy Frederick’s creations overall. Worth the premium for me compared to grocery store baked goods!

Fredericks catered the dessert for our wedding and we were so happy with them! We did a small cutting cake which was beautifully decorated and then cookies and small tart/pies. The guests all said they were delicious! I was also super happy with the price and communication. Would highly recommend for weddings!

I've ordered 4 birthday cakes from here, but the one I just got was an absolute disappointment. I asked for a blue hombre cake with no flowers. They did blue hombre on the sides with a plain white top. Whoever decorated the cake did not put in any effort. I could have went to any grocery store bakery and got a cake that looked better than this cake. This will be the last cake I order here.
Great for my diet. I've gone in here a few times, but never gotten anything. The selection is just so bad that every time I go in looking for a classic pastry, they don't have it or anything similar. Why do they have pastry in their name if they don't make anything but cake? I went out of my way today having forgotten why I never get anything and came in to a mostly empty display case. So either they sell out fast or they don't bother.

Ok so I have ordered from this place multiple of times... Only for cakes... So I can't review on any other item... They did my wedding cake which came out just how I wanted and wonderful. They have made specific cupcakes for certain events... The pictures don't do justice there animal toppers come out so good. Elephant, mice, reindeer, spider.... And as shown in photos... As for taste... I always get the vanilla with chocolate fudge frosting and not only is it on top it's in the middle... So good but so rich. My sister loves the chocolate one and my friend loves the red velvet. Really great place with nice people... Why did I only give four stars then.... Because of price... Yes, one cupcake is $5 but you know what it's worth it for holidays... With the inflation and all its tough on everyone... I will buy cupcakes from this place every year for my family because they love it that much. Don't go here if you are looking for cheap cupcakes... That's at market basket.
