Made plans with friends to meet up for brunch. Our friends don’t live close by, so we don’t get to see each that often. My husband and I arrived first, right at 9 a.m., with our son, hoping to get a table early for our larger party. There were plenty of open tables. I’ve even been to this location before with a group of 20+ and we were easily accommodated. However, this time the hostess refused to seat us until everyone was physically inside, even when our friends texted that they were pulling in. I pointed out open setups that could fit us, like a four-top beside a two-top, but she declined and seated another group there. The host/manager told me not to worry and that seating eight wouldn’t be a problem. When everyone arrived minutes later, he offered only two back-to-back booths. I asked about nearby tables, but he said they can’t push tables together on weekends. Since that didn’t work for us, we had to wait. Eventually, we were crammed into one booth. seven people plus a baby in a high chair. I spent breakfast half off the seat. The food was fine, but the experience was frustrating, especially when we saw the same man later pushing those very same tables together for another large party. Overall, it left us extremely disappointed with The Friendly Toast.

We always have a lovely time here we especially enjoy the outdoor seating and lawn at this location. Good food for breakfast or lunch! You have to try a mimosa flight too! Service is always friendly and fast.

The Friendly Toast is our new favorite breakfast place. Well worth the drive to Bedford. Sorry Tuckers. Our server Arlene was friendly, genuine and very professional. Can't say enough about how she made our experience nothing short of outstanding!! Arlene had a great support staff as well. Everyone was friendly and eager to help each other out. They're a well oiled machine and our food was Amazing!! We really enjoyed dining on the patio as well. Great atmosphere!! Thank you!!

It has a nice atmosphere. There are a few entertainment options for children. The food is tasty but not amazing. The quality of service varies; some waiters are very friendly and attentive, while others don't pay much attention. So, I can't give a definitive recommendation. Overall, I would recommend this place to families with children.

This was the first time my wife and I have been here. The food is absolutely amazing! The problem, however, was the SERVICE. We were seated right away, and sat in our booth for nearly 10 minutes before the waitress finally came over. It was NOT busy. There were a total of 8 tables of 2-4 people with a waiter and a waitress.
My wife and I are from Salem and Windham, but we moved to Summerville South Carolina 8 years ago. We were currently visiting friends and family, and we heard about this chain of restaurants.
Living in the greater Charleston area, the service also is subpar. We were very disappointed when comparing lazy people in the service industry to people from New Hampshire. They are virtually identical. We might be back when we visit here again, but then again, maybe not.

Food was good with the exception of the home fries, but the prices are high for food and outrageous for drinks even non alcoholic. 6 dollars for a glass of basic concentrate orange juice? Come on.
