Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. My brother-in-law and I both had the enchilada supreme and my wife had the dinner chimichangas. The food was fantastic. Each of the different enchiladas had excellent flavor. I've been to many other Mexican restaurants in the area and El jimador compares favorably to all of them. The server was friendly and had a great demeanor. He was able to comfortably keep us smiling and take care of us without being bothersome. He gave us a few tips on sauces to try and it really added to the experience. We will definitely be going back sometime soon!

I always get the Chorizo Nachos and my wife has the Mole Poblano. Excellent every time. We also each have a House Margarita which we deem the best!

This has to be one of the best restaurants my husband and I have ever gone too. The food is always served piping hot and delicious. I love that they serve street taco style options as these are corn tortillas. Im gluten free and often have a hard time finding places that serve corn tortillas well. I recently tried the Birria tacos which were PHENOMENAL. My husband got the Arroz Con Mariscos and that was AMAZING as well. Large portions which leaves left overs for the next day. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Wow. Being Mexican, I didn’t have any crazy expectations, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the carne asada and the burrito fajita. The steak was so crazy tender and perfectly medium rare (what I requested) despite how thin the cut was. I think it was actually a ribeye cut not a flank steak, given the fat and the grain. I was told they receive the beef in bigger slabs and butcher it in-house. The chips were warm and fresh and the margaritas were tasty. Service was exceptionally fast and attentive. Would absolutely recommend!!

I don't know how they only have 4.5. This is the most consistent Mexican in the Lakes Region. I have never walked out of there thinking they must have had a new cook or something like that. It's pretty much the same menu you'll see everywhere and they do it well. Staff is friendly, food comes out fast, hot and tasty. It's 5 stars all-day every day. Oh and the El Molcajete can feed 2 people for 2 days. My wife and I come for the big margaritas, stay for the food!

Food was delicious! We had at our table chicken burrito, shredded beef chimichanga, chile relleno, burrito fajita... all was good, especially the shredded beef. Margarita was fantastic! Salsa is very mild if you want to heat it up, you can request some tomatillo sauce. Deducted a star because it took so long (over an hour) for food to come.

The best Mexican food and margaritas I've had. The birria tacos were amazing. I also got the Chile Verde and the pork was so tender and flavorful. I also got the Camarones El Diablo and it was amazing. Even the simple hard shell ground beef taco was top notch. The Mexican potatoes were unbelievably good....best pineapple jalapeno margaritas....the service was awesome. We sat at the bar each time and the bartender was awesome! We were up here on vacation for the long weekend and we have been there three times! I wish I took more pics but I was too busy stuffing my face! Chips and salsa were also delicious! I highly recommend this place!
