Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. My brother-in-law and I both had the enchilada supreme and my wife had the dinner chimichangas. The food was fantastic. Each of the different enchiladas had excellent flavor. I've been to many other Mexican restaurants in the area and El jimador compares favorably to all of them. This has to be one of the best restaurants my husband and I have ever gone too. The food is always served piping hot and delicious. I love that they serve street taco style options as these are corn tortillas. Im gluten free and often have a hard time finding places that serve corn tortillas well. I recently tried the Birria tacos which were PHENOMENAL. My husband got the Arroz Con Mariscos and that was AMAZING as well. Large portions which leaves left overs for the next day....
Wow. Being Mexican, I didn’t have any crazy expectations, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the carne asada and the burrito fajita. The steak was so crazy tender and perfectly medium rare (what I requested) despite how thin the cut was. I think it was actually a ribeye cut not a flank steak, given the fat and the grain.
I was told they receive the beef in bigger slabs and butcher it in-house.
