Dined in! Got the 1/4 lobster roll and the brisket bomb sub-absolutely delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked and fresh tasting. The brisket was cooked to perfection and a hefty portion. We live about an hour away (went nearby for some funeral services) and we will take a trip up this way just for the BBQ/lobster roll in the future for sure!

We visited the establishment today with the intention of enjoying some seafood and barbecue, but unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. The seafood dishes were not of the expected quality. The shrimp appeared to be frozen and not fresh, and they were coated in breading that included the tail shell, which was an unpleasant surprise. The whole belly clams and scallops were gritty with sand and overcooked. The tartar sauce seemed to be primarily mayonnaise, and the coleslaw lacked flavor. The barbecue items also fell short of expectations. It appeared that they had been cooked well in advance, possibly a week ago, and then reheated in an oven. The smokiness of the barbecue had an overpowering and unpleasant flavor, as if it had been smoked using an incinerator rather than traditional wood. We are puzzled by the establishment's high star rating, as our experience was far from positive. It is possible that the ice cream is a popular item that contributes to the positive reviews. However, we will not be returning to this establishment, especially considering the significant cost of $110 for a disappointing meal. It is important to note that the establishment does not accurately represent Southern barbecue, and many individuals could achieve better results at home. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience.

Good location. Small portions for the money. I know that prices are up, but I've had more for the money recently at like places. I thought that it would have been more substantial and not chopped, but the flavor was good. I had been there years ago, so I wanted to try it again.

We have always loved getting takeout or dining in. Until today. We ordered 2 lbs of beef brisket and were sent home with pulled pork. Manager said since he had personality filled our order we were wrong. Said it was shredded because the meat was fattier than usual and if we would prefer it sliced next time just ask. Except it WAS PORK. Posted a pic on Facebook and 10 friends immediately identified as pulled pork. We tasted it. No offer to make it right and manager didn’t want to see our pic. We declined to drive all the way back to prove it but wanted others to be aware. I don’t believe the customer is ALWAYS right but I do know the difference between beef and pork. And recognize that errors happen. Luckily no food allergies or religion based dietary needs here.

Very disappointed in customer service today. We ordered 2 lbs of beef brisket takeout. We were given pulled pork labeled as brisket. Called and spoke with manager who told me there was no way it was wrong bc he had filled the order himself. He suggested we could drive back there with it. I offered to send a pic, which he declined to do. We were previously big fans and recommended to others, but are now leaning away from dining ordering from here again.

The dry rubbed pull pork sandwich was tasty and generous. At the table, various BBQ and hot sauces were available. Order at the counter and they will deliver the food. The dining room could use an update
