I had clams with bellies plate, and they were pretty good, but you don't get many for what you pay; I had more fries than clams. If I did it again, I'd buy a pint instead. Staff was very friendly and cheerful.

Been all around for BBQ.. obviously, nothing beats the south. New England just cannot do bbq like they can. I was hoping for a good meal, and got the brisket, and pork with two sides. Sides were good, beans were cooked perfectly. But this place falls apart when it comes to the meat. Literally. Brisket, isn’t supposed to disintegrate when you touch it with a fork. I needed sauce to finish it. And the pork, went almost completely untouched. It was so dry, there were dried, cracked pieces throughout the portion, suggesting that the pork was old, and simply reheated. It’s fine if it’s reheated, but if it’s so dry that it’s got hard pieces all throughout it, it’s un-servable. Please, practice on the bbq if this is your main selling point. The sauces weren’t all that bad either! The service was great, everyone was so nice and genuine. If I heard this place upped their game up, I’d come back for sure!!

Chicken quesadilla was okay but they don't cook any of there meats with any kind of sauce so everything is extremely dry even after adding sauce to it

Honestly .. after dropping over $100 for my families meals I am extremely disappointed 😞 picked it up, got it home opened the meals and these fries have been sitting for hours, Id post the picture if it let me. Also, the clams smell so off. Neither my husband or I can stomach it. Disappointed is an understatement. The staff was kind, and the restaurant itself was clean. Update. The owners reached out the same night and gave us a full refund and were very kind .. may try again someday.

Its BBQ in New England so don't be surprised at the quality of the food. Our family has been local and tried this place for 3 summers in a row and the quality has always been inconsistently bad. All of the meat we have had seemed to be bland and afraid of salt or seasoning.
The staff have always been pleasant and the venue is clean. But if you want BBQ I suggest 603 BBQ in Concord and if you want actual homemade ice cream I suggest Richardson's down the street. All of that aside, this is the only actual restaurant in Boscawen (for now) so options are limited without going towards Penacook.
