Tonight we reserved a dinner cruise on Lake Sunapee for our 5th wedding anniversary. Man what a nice night for it! Well, we got there at the time scheduled and the boat had been gone for an hour!

There was a young man on the dock that was just about to leave from the cruise. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Called the boat and spoke with them. Someone will call us tomorrow! I told him there’s a reason why we aren’t on the boat.

Asked him for the closest restaurant. The one we picked we’ve wanted to try all year. They do the catering for the dinner cruise. He called and made a reservation for us. Gave us a name for when we got there.

We learned the cruise boat and restaurant are one and the same. Second Generation family. Pete the owner came out apologizing. Said he would be sure, even though it was a full boat, to get is on tomorrow nights cruise! Lisa was amazing wait staff. All around amazing and experience! And did right by us!

The owners should be very proud of themselves!! They run an amazing business!! Thank you for making our evening perfect!

I ordered online for take out and my special instructions were never made. I was disappointed. The side garden salad was very small and way over priced. Food was just okay.

The food here is delicious. We’ve never had anything bad. Almost everything is homemade. Service is friendly, upbeat, and entertaining. We camp close by and on our way to camp, we stop here every chance we get. Everyone needs to know about this gem. You’re missing out if you don’t come here.

Delicious food & great service. We came in Thursday night. We were up from RI and were staying at an BnB across the lake. A local couple at the table next to us sharer thier onion rings...absolutely the best onion rings! Fresh food, great drinks & great waitress.

Appleseed Restaurant service and food was just what my family and I need after a long day of travel. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. Every dish felt like a well prepared home cooked meal. Our waitress Caroline recommended the turkey dinner which was one of the best I’ve had. The turkey was roasted and sliced thin with a savory gravy. My wife had the General Jons Chicken which was all tendered white meat with a delicious crispy batter dipped in a sweet chili sauce. The most impressive part was my three kids left nothing to spear. I also liked the fact that any adult entree could be prepared smaller for the kids. To put the cherry on top of a great night, our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. If we didn’t live hours away, this would sure be a place we’d come back to often.
