Passing through Bristol NH and stopped in Kathleen’s Irish Pub and it was definitely worth the stop. The server and the bartender were super friendly and welcoming. The tap beer choices were great and the chefs specials were absolutely delicious. This night the specials were Peruvian dishes and each of the ones we tried were way above our expectations. If you’re looking for a great spot for a drink, food, or both- this is it.

Just NO! There are so many things wrong with this place that I can't even list them all. Part of me wants to meet with the owner and give her some well needed advice, but the other part of me wants to just let it go and not go back.
It's really a bummer because Bristol is such a small town and it really needs to have good food to keep the out of towners circulating their money.
If the owner sees this review and needs help with suggestions, she can respond. Otherwise, check out Bridgewater Inn, or Homestead for amazing food, service and atmosphere at a similar (slightly higher) price point but worth it!

Figured I would try it out, very disappointing experience. Ordered steak tips medium rare with onions and peppers and carrots with a salad before the meal. Waited 20 mins and had to ask for salad and got it right away great right! No It was wilted and brown in spots. Sent it back.diner came out right after, had mashed potatoes, and had no carrots asked for the carrots, and they came out a few minutes later. Cold and looked like they came from a can. Sent them back the highlight was my steak tips were cooked correct they were ok at best a little tough. 32.58 for a crappy meal. Won't be going back.

Months back, we began planning a bachelorette party for our friend in Bristol, NH. On the list of places to visit was Kathleen’s Irish Pub. They were happy to put us down for a reservation for dinner AND cottage comedy (free show first Saturday of each month). From the moment we stepped in, the night was great. Amazing staff, great food, great drinks. And the comedy? I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in quite sometime. If looking for an easy night out, definitely add this pub to your list. You won’t be disappointed!!

If I could give a zero star I would. My boyfriend And I try this place for the first time tonight and the the corned beef sandwich was so over cooked and dry I couldn't swallow it, there was a beetle on the cap of the ketchup crawling around and when we showed it to our server he laughed like it wasn't a big deal. The service was terrible and the servers stood at the bar most the time and were swearing like they were the customers gossiping with each other. I'd expect an apology for the bug or even to be shown some concern and that was not the case. We will NOT Be going back or recommending to anyone!
