Wonderful spot up high overlooking Newfound Lake and the mountains, we were inside as it was the last day of the season and it was booked up. But we did get some beautiful pictures with the sunsetting behind us before we left ❣️

We've been to Ledge Water on several occasions and our favorite times were a few years ago. The past visits seem to be loosing that "special night out" feel. This last dinner was the worst with soggy salads, baked potatoes cool to cold, along with frozen butter, 25-40 minutes between server check-in's, no offer to refill or replace drinks, and added menu requests forgotten. With the prices as they are I certainly would expect a far better evening. I feel very confident Ledge Water will not miss my wife and I judging on how busy they always seem however, I think I've made my last invitation.

Food was good, chicken marsala portion was half the size of the photos on their web site. For the price...disappointing. Brussel sprouts a bit overcooked and burnt. Again, portion smaller than photo on their website. Probably will not return.

This place is the WORST!!! We came one evening without a reservation and were told they couldn't seat us buz they were full. So, we made reservation, WHILE WE WERE STILL THERE, for the following evening. We were told the only indoor seating was at 4:30. A little early for us, but Ok, we will take it. The manager follows us outside and tells us that he could seat us outside, under the overhang at 5:30 if that worked better. We kindly declined stating we most definitely did NOT want to sit outside!!! We arrived the following day for our 4:30 reservation only to be seated OUTSIDE!!!!! There was nothing they could do to change our reservation to what we requested and the only option was OUTSIDE buz that's what the previous hostess wrote down! I'm sorry, HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM????? It was now 4:36 and we were offered an indoor table if we could be done by…..wait for it...4:45!!!!!! So, we had 9 minutes to eat!!! As if that was reasonable!!! We received the worst customer service ever with no apology!!! We opted to leave without eating!!! POOR POOR POOR!!! If I could leave a -5 star, I would!

For fine dining prices we found it less than fine. The server was very nice but seemed very rushed when she was able to make it to our table. My garden salad was excellent! My husband ceasar was just ok. The steaks were giant! But big does not make them better. Although my husband’s ribeye was cooked correctly the side sauce he ordered was put right on the steak which he didn’t love and to him ruined the steak. My NY strip again was BIG and cooked correctly but I could barely cut it and when I did I expected some glistening juice to run out and it didn’t. Was oddly dry and tough. The dessert, one of the 15 cakes they have. Only cakes for dessert, was honestly too big and not great. I would have accepted all of this if the prices matched what we were served. 170.00 for sub par food and service and we don’t drink Alcohol! That was just food and soft drinks. We love good food and will pay for good food. But this was not worth the cost. There are so many other steak places in NH that are so much better. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night, they are closing soon so maybe just burned out from the busy summer. We are glad we went! Been wanting to try it for a while. But unfortunately I would not recommend and we likely will not return. For those who love it there, thats great and I am glad. It simply was not what we expected. But thats ok! To each their own.

Excellent steak, service, desert, and view. Parking can be a challenge since space is limited. I dropped off my wife then drove back down the hill to park on the street.
Had a large party 10 people. It was easily one of the best dining experiences with a large group that I have had in a very long time! The food, service and atmosphere could not have been better! We created a very memorable evening thanks to the Ledgewater!!!

Don't let the higher prices scare you because this place is worth every penny. Fantastic cuts of meat that will make you cry when it's all gone. We happend to come at sunset and that beautiful lake shimmers with perfection for a dinner date. After your recovery from the views and main course, take your stomach to the next level with Jumbo cake slices!
