I don't give anyone 5 stars but this place was that good. The food was fresh and made while we waited, no microwave here. The bartender knew what she was doing and made fabulous drinks. The service was impeccable and the music in the background was so good you want to sing along which one of the waitresses would occasionally do. Fantastic experience, great food and drinks. Sorry we waited so long to try it.

Very good. Last time I ate lamb shanks was at Durgin Park and they cost $4.95. Good choice! I also had wings--not so good, but their version chowdahhhh was a good attempt for north shore chowdahhh. Service was a bit slow as the waitress flirted with biker dudes at the bar.

Since moving to Townsend, I've had the pleasure to dine here 3 times now With my girlfriend, she was already a fan. I will tell you Chrysanthi's is consistently great. The food is excellent, good portions! I'm a good boy and I clean my plate every time, like the Gyro Club sandwich w/ Greek fries ? The servers are friendlyand accommodating! On our last visit we sat at a high table in the bar area, Kaylee behind the bar was awesome and took care of us. Great job to all! See you soon!

We ordered a steak sub with extra cheese and a Rueben with eggplant fries for pickup. The fries were a new item they had. As you can see from the photo, there was hardly any cheese and the eggplant fries were burnt and soggy. The Rueben had good flavor but personal preference, I wish the meat wasn't chopped because it kept falling out and made it difficult to eat. Customer service was good. Food was average.

Get ready to embark on a culinary Odyssey at Chrysanthi’s, where the Greek gods of flavor have descended to Brookline, NH, bringing with them a fusion of Greek, Italian, and American delights that will make your taste buds do the Zorba dance! Picture this: you’re walking into a cozy country setting, only to be greeted by Shauna and her band of merry waitstaff, ready to serve you with the kind of attentiveness that would make Zeus himself jealous. The menu’s so vast, you’d think it was written by Homer – we’re talking epic portions of lobster ravioli, lamb kebabs that’ll have you bleating for more, and a Greek salad so authentic, you’ll start questioning if you’re actually in New Hampshire or kicking back in Santorini. But wait, there’s more! It’s not just about the food; it’s an experience. You’ll be dining in an atmosphere so pleasant, you’ll forget about the world’s woes – unless you’re trying to decide between the haddock with risotto or the gyro that’s so good it could resolve a Greek-Turkish dispute. And let’s not forget the service – these folks are so friendly and attentive, you’ll start wondering if you accidentally joined a new family. Sure, there might be an off day here and there, but that’s just the gods reminding us that nobody’s perfect. So, if you’re in the mood for a meal that’s part feast, part comedy show, and all delicious, Chrysanthi’s is your go-to spot. Just remember to bring your appetite and your sense of humor!

My first visit here with a friend who has been here before. Interesting and diverse menu of mostly Italian and Greek items. We arrived on Saturday around 4:30 for a late lunch (or early dinner?) At that time there were only maybe 2-3 other tables occupied. By the time we left at 6:00, the place was packed, with the bar full and people waiting. All the food looked good. Will definitely have to come back to try some of the other items.
