My husband and I stumbled upon this place and decided to add it to our date night list. Not a bad place. Super cute and extremely friendly. I got a burger, it's was fine. My husband got the pick 3, ribs/burnt ends/brisket. He said it was really good so I stole a bite of his brisket and it melted in your mouth. I also stole his cornbread, that was super delicious. I was tempted to order some to go, lol.

Amazing everytime

Excellent experience. Combines best of independent restaurants (good food, fun/unique atmosphere, good music (Ralph), friendly service) with good things about chain restaurants (clean, comfortable, very efficient).

They should rename this place “NH Boiled Meat and Tequila Bar,” because there’s absolutely no flavor. If you want real BBQ, do yourself a favor and head to B.T.’s Smokehouse in Sturbridge, MA — hands down the best BBQ spot in New England.

I gave this place a try since it’s close to where I live, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. If you like BBQ with zero flavor, this is your spot. I moved here from Texas a few years ago and have been trying different BBQ joints across NH. Based on the reviews, I had high hopes — but I’m shocked people actually consider this BBQ.

Brisket:
On a flavor scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 1.5. There’s a faint hint of smokiness, but that’s about it. It tastes like something cooked on an electric smoker with just a trace of smoke added. Real BBQ from an offset smoker hits you with that deep, rich, wood-smoked aroma — even from outside the restaurant. This place has none of that.

Sauce:
I tried both the house sauce and the ghost pepper sauce. The house sauce was one of the worst I’ve ever had — I literally had to spit it out. The ghost pepper sauce was better; I liked the heat, but it still tasted processed and the texture was off. Honestly, a bottle of Stubb’s BBQ Sauce from Walmart has more flavor and depth — and that’s saying something.

I don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews, and maybe some of their other menu items are better, but “Alamo,” “Texas,” and “BBQ” shouldn’t be anywhere near the name of this place. It’s misleading and, frankly, a shame to real Texas BBQ.

My husband and I were out on a motorcycle adventure during the summer and we lost track of time. It was well past dinner time on a Sunday and we were looking for a local place to grab a bite. We swung into the Alamo, yet the kitchen had just been closed. We asked at the take out window if they had anything that was still warm and we would buy it as a 'to-go' meal. We are not sure who the two ladies were who assisted us; they were great. We walked out with a sampling of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and cornbread. We ate a little before we got back on the bike and took the rest home. It reheated perfectly in our air fryer. We plan on visiting again (well before closing) when we are back in the area. Thank you Alamo for your hospitality, adaptability and kindness.

Good food but their loaded nachos with the pulled pork are amazing. I get them every time I go. They're pretty big so sometimes that's all we get for the two of us and still have leftovers.
