The food is really good, but they're really pricey these days, even after factoring in inflation. I only go once or twice a year now because it's just gotten so expensive in comparison to other steakhouses. When I do go though, it's yummy and I have fun.

Ordered brisket on nachos, we expect some fat on brisket but come on. Skimpy on corn chips, far more salty than other places, the cheese was mostly under the pile. I said who screws up nachos, DOX does. Atmosphere was ok, service was ok

Let’s talk about parking first, because it’s the real MVP of this review. If you’re planning to drive there on a busy night, be prepared to channel your inner Tetris master. Spaces are limited and patience is very much needed but, hey, it’s all part of the adventure, right?
Entering, you’re greeted by the very casual atmosphere. Don’t expect any fine dining or soft jazz playing in the background. This is a BBQ joint, not a spa. The vibe is loud—the kind of place where you’re not sure if you’re hearing someone’s order or just the universe shouting at you to eat more brisket.
Service is friendly and quick, though, so at least your food comes to you fast. It’s solid, but let’s be honest—it’s what you’d expect from any BBQ joint in the Northeast: hearty, smoky, and a little more “meh” than “wow.” Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. It’s just not mind-blowing. I’d definitely go back to try more things—there are plenty of options on the menu—but it wouldn’t be my first choice when I’m craving barbecue.
So, if you’re in the mood for a casual, loud meal with friendly service and a parking spot you’ll spend 10 minutes waiting for, Alamo is a solid choice. But if you’re looking for a BBQ revelation? Maybe keep on driving.

Food is good. Kids meals are well priced and big portions. Brisket is spiced in a way Im not a huge fan of, but it's alright.
Loaded tots are awwweesome
Love the cornbread as croutons. So tasty.
I'd pass on the mac, but that's 100% a personal thing. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer other cheeses.

Decent food, but for the price, there are far better options. It was $55 for my meal, one side, and one drink. The others i was with ranged from $40-75 each. Definitely overrated in my opinion.

The food and drinks were fantastic. I had loaded nacho with brisket topping, brisket tacos, and fall off the bone baby back rib. Great hidden gem for some good bbq.

Place is tremendous! I have severe food allergies, and chef Stefano and waitress Rebecca took care of me 100%!! Rebecca’s customer service is outstanding. She made sure there was something I could eat and triple checked all ingredients in the food. Chef Stefano came out and also made me feel such as ease, to eat a true bbq meal. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and delish! He suggested a topping of pulled chicken and it was sooo good. Who knew?! The corn bread was also a scrumptious side. I highly recommend this place. Drinks were perfect, with a fun atmosphere, delish and huge portions of food, and outstanding customer service. I even hugged the chef. It made my weekend! Can’t wait to return. Thank you, thank you again :)

The burnt ends were barely warm. The homemade chips were soggy. Waited 45 minutes just to be sat and to have our order taken. The only thing I’m going to remember about the Alamo is not to go back.

Amazing food. Best BBQ in New England. Meat falls, I mean FALLS off the bone. Made for the best leftovers with large portions.
Kid-friendliness: Great options for little ones!

One of the best BBQ places in Southern NH without a doubt. All the meats are so good and have great flavor and their sauces are delicious. I love their Nachos and pulled pork Mac n cheese especially
Dietary restrictions: Someone with a peanut / tree nut allergy can eat here no problem

We went to the Alamo last night, & it’s really gone downhill from a year ago when we started going ( the 1st 6 months ) the food , service & ambiance was excellent., we went a couple months ago & we noticed the bands that play are way too loud for that small venue , and some of the food we enjoyed was not as spectacular as it once was., the dessert menu dwindled with mediocre desserts. They dropped a caramel pie that was excellent & a key lime too, that was a bummer., So we decided to give it another try last night & it was awful. Our waitress was rude & lazy, our cornbread had no flavor & was cold, baked beans were sticky , looked & tasted like they were sitting in a pot all night, only thing that was good was the pulled pork sandwich. It was extremely loud, female guitarist. I don’t know who she was singing to, not that many people in there, it was like she was playing a stadium concert. Not a fun experience & it cost 90$ with a 20 percent tip!!., we don’t need to go back, there are other great BBQ places in the area like KC’s rib shack or Willie Jewels in Nashua. Excellent food & ambience for a fraction of the cost. It’s too bad because the Alamo was one of our favorite places, but not anymore.
