The atmosphere/ ambiance was excellent! Food, and music, terrific! The service was slow but not due to the wait staff. The wait staff was attentive and apologetic for the delay.
Love dining at the Omni Mt. Washington Hotel when I'm up for skiing at the Woods. The waiter was great but appeared to be very busy because the dining room was most likely understaffed. The menu is pricy but the experience is worth the value and there is no other options in the area except for some great local Inns 20 to 30 minutes away. There is Fabian's close by but it's more of a pub menu and the food is mediocre.
Drink service at the bar was excellent. We checked in for our table and requested a nicer table spot as it was our anniversary dinner. The hostess acknowledged the table request and assured us of a wonderful table. Upon her return from assessing the tables, another staff member sat us at one of the furthest tables in a room off of the main dining room. This was like being in an old banquet room. It didn’t resemble the beautiful main dining room at all. Very disappointing but it only got worse. The server had too many tables to cover alone and it took forever for even a greeting. He was very apologetic but service was at this unbelievably slow pace the entire meal. Not his fault but managements under staffing. For entrees we had the pork dish and braised short ribs. The pork was dry and the ribs were not very tender for being braised. We did receive a complimentary dessert for our wait time, as the waiter wasn’t even aware of our anniversary, that was excellent. Save room for the sticky toffee pudding! We should’ve refused the table seating but tried to make do ….next time we won’t. The hostess staff at this level of restaurant should be trained better.
Waitstaff was attentive and helpful. The timing of courses was perfect as was the food! It was a wonderful experience.
Husband had the braised beef, it was ok but a bit fatty. I had the salmon and they served it nearly raw. Wouldn't come back.
The dining room is beautiful and our server was very nice and attentive. The food was not worth it in both taste and presentation. Seems like they are overwhelmed with orders and don't have capacity
Overall a wonderful experience. Our server, Ergun was outstanding, very amiable. I have a favorite cocktail with blended Canadian whiskey, either Canadian Club or Seagrams. Neither were available. We dined at Stickneys the next night and they had the whiskey- restaurants on the same site. Probably could have been obtained with little effort. Also this is high end, expensive dining facility with recommend attire. We didn't expect to share our dining experience with people wearing carpenter jeans and untucked Tshirts. We are far from snobs, just regular folks, but when spending a lot of money, we would expect the Omni to enforce their dining protocol. If not, why bother to publish it. Back in the day, this facility had jackets for men that did have them.
I don't think you can beat the experience of dining in one of the last remaining grand hotels left in the US. The food was amazing and worth the price and the wait staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Destination dining at it's finest in the heart of the beautiful White Mountains of NH.
Very amazed with the staff and how accommodating there were. There suggestion regarding meals were on point. Friendly, hard workers.
We sat at the bar enjoying the view, the drinks, the food and especially the bartender, Stacy, was incredible!

The view is outstanding! Food was really amazing if a little pricey. Enjoyed the Paperdelle and the Caesar salad. And the desserts were delicious! Service was attentive and friendly. Overall a wonderful experience!
We had company from the Villages in Florida who had never enjoyed the Omni Mt Washington in Breton Woods. We made a reservation, toured the grounds then enjoyed a perfectly prepared meal while watching the clouds reveal Mr Washington on Summer Solstice's evening. The meal was amazingly cooked cod on a bed of chowder topped with a delicious slaw. It was beautifully presented and equally tasty. Our guests were very pleased with the atmosphere, dining experience and service.
Highly recommend treating yourself to dinner here if you are staying at the hotel. Service was top notch and the food did not disappoint - everything we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly.
It was so nice to dine in a beautiful dining room with soft hardly notable music and quiet patrons. The food and service was great.
Took 1:50 to get our food. When it came both orders with Salmon were not thoroughly cooked. Very disappointing... this is the second sub-par experience at this hotel over the last 3 years..
