We recently secured catering from 603 for our wedding event. They supplied a generous amount of food that was more than enough for our selected amount of guest. They provided everything we needed and then some. Food was amazing. There was BBQ enthusiast there that said this was the best BBQ they have ever had. Great full that we found and used 603 BBQ. Exceptional BBQ that’s definitely worth the price. Thank you 603 for the amazing food that you provide.

Honestly, it's probably the best bbq I've had in my life. Contemplating moving just to be closer.

Best BBQ I’ve had in New England.

If there’s one thing that’ll get New Hampshire folks lining up before opening, it’s BBQ. This spot has only been around for two years, but people were already waiting over an hour when we showed up. The chef trained in Texas, and from the counter alone the meats looked straight out of a Central Texas smokehouse.

Instead of the sample platter, we went with three half-pound cuts: brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs. They don’t allow ribs on the platter anyway, so this felt like a better move. For brisket, we chose fatty, and while it wasn’t the most tender brisket I’ve had, it was the best I’ve had in New England. Fatty but never excessive, and balanced in flavor. Most importantly, I could eat a whole chunk of lean parts without a sip of water.

The pork ribs were excellent, the burnt ends solid. A few pieces ran dry, but the sauce pulled it through. Oddly enough, I swear there was a tea note (jasmine maybe?) that gave it extra umami.

They offered four sauces, with the Dr. Pepper being my fav. Nice peppery kick on top of that usual sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Been eagerly wanting to try this restaurant for several months since I accidently stumbled upon it in an Instagram posting. We arrived 30 minutes prior to them opening and were about the 7th party in line. We were glad we arrived early, the line moves slow once they open because they only have one register at the counter. They have about 5 picnic tables inside, we weren’t sure if we would be lucky enough to get a seat when it was our turn but we were. We shared the table with another couple which I admire is the “unspoken” rule to do here. Otherwise there is a brewery right next door that opens at the same time with ample outdoor seating. Im not sure what the rules are for sitting there. If we didn’t get a table inside, we were preparing to order a beer and take our food over there. Order at the counter and food is brought to your table. We spent $72 on our meal but we don’t regret it. We wanted to try everything, and we sure did. Between the two of us we even had left overs which was enough to have for dinner later. We ordered the sampler platter and our 3 meats of choice were brisket, burnt ends and barbacoa. We were the most disappointed in the barbacoa, though the seasoning was amazing, it was very fatting. We were pleasantly surprised with the burnt ends, the sweet and savory flavor and was so tender. But our favorite was the brisket, it had so much flavor and it just melted in your mouth. With the sampler platter, we also got 3 sides: a large piece of corn bread, elote, and mac n cheese. All were wonderful. We had one Texas twinkie, be warned it packed a heated punch! It was spicy but we loved it. The cheddar jalapeño was amazing with quite a crunch on the skin. Lastly we had the banana pudding, I wasn’t a fan of it. It was definitely missing something. But it appears most of their attention is drawn towards the main feature: the BBQ. Finally a great BBQ place in New Hampshire! Hoping they grow to a bigger location soon. They are all hard workers!

First off- super nice guys working there. Good people. This is just more of a heads up to those like me that love southern bbq. This is fantastic for New England. Above average for sure for New England. But nowhere near good bbq I’ve had in Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, etc. Have your expectations in check.

Food is 2 or 3 out of 5 for good bbq. Everything was sooooo sweet. If you like sweet then go for it. Couldn’t taste smoke because I could only taste sugar. Didn’t even add the sauces that were even sweeter.

Service is 5 for kindness, 1 for efficiency. If you’re used to how those machines churn in the south - they can serve 100 orders in like 20 minutes. This is not that. We were maybe 40 ppl deep and it took about 1.5 hrs. No idea why. We watched them work and they just keep staring at tickets looking confused. Then one guy would chop. One guy would check how many ribs or brisket they had left. 2 guys would watch 1 guy chatted up the guest. Like … there has got to be a more efficient way to get meat out. This stuff is cooked and made. You just gotta dole it out.

Burnt ends weren’t really burnt ends. Just chopped smoked pork belly cooked in sweet syrup.

Sausage was ok. Ribs were the best of the lot we tried. Didn’t taste any smoke on the beef cheeks. Weird. Kinda just tasted braised. Bark didn’t have anything going on for some reason. Maybe in steamer too long. Edit: I now read this is intentional as it was barbacoa and not bbq. My bad for ordering it.

Really clean. Tables indoors and out. No complaints there. No shade in line for 1.5 hrs. Made it really uncomfortable. Out of ribs and brisket by 2:30.

603bbq recently catered our wedding, and I cannot say enough how amazing everything went. The food was perfect (as usual), Ben and his team were EXTREMELY punctual, and Ben did everything possible to a) make sure we had enough food and b) make sure everything went well without any problems. I often recommend 603bbq to anyone who’s remotely loves the cuisine, because Ben knocks it out of the park every time, as he has for the past 2.5 yrs, consistently. He’s got something really special going on so if you miss out, it’s seriously your loss.
