Alexandra’s Bistro is a true hidden gem! We’ve been regulars since they first opened, and it’s been wonderful watching them continue to impress with their consistently delicious and creative dishes. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, tucked away in a little strip mall, with a welcoming atmosphere and charming decor.
The owner/chef clearly puts so much passion into the menu, always delivering unique and flavorful meals. I’ve never had a bad dish here! Up until a week ago, I would have said the Wild Boar Bolognese was my favorite, but last week’s Braised Lamb Shank was simply outstanding—tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned.
Rae, and all of the waitstaff are very attentive and if you’re looking for a fantastic meal in a warm and inviting setting, this is the place to go.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was top notch. We watched the owner/chef inspect every plate that went out. We will definitely be back.

Quite possibly the best food in Concord. Excellent staff and great atmosphere. Absolutely a gem!

A unique little restaurant hidden in a strip mall parking lot in Penacook. Started with the crab ragoon dip which was nicely loaded with crab and topped with a spicy duck sauce (could have just dipped the chips in the dip and wished for more). Followed that with the steak and frites. Perfectly cooked I loved the maple onion glaze my wife (who isn't big into sweet) thought it was a little too sweet (but the leftovers made a great steak burrito the next morning). The creme brulee has a nice vanilla custard and the top was crusted brown nicely. I'm in no way saying it is overpriced but be prepared to spend more than your average Concord restaurant as it is well worth it.

Had 630 reservation, was told when we arrived we would still have to wait 10 minutes, I told the boy we had a show to get to which is why I made the reservation. We decided to wait,we put in food order which was ceaser salad and steak tips,(only 3 tiny tips to be exact),my husband ordered steak fries and a side ceaser, they never brought his salad out before his meal, they brought everyone together and it all took 1 hour, the waitress never ever checked in with us and the place is teeny tiny so she could have stopped over to let us know and she never did.Do not go here unless you have time to waste and the place is freezing. My husband is a chef and could not believe how long it took. The couple beside us got served before us and they came after us.

What a find last night. We wanted dinner before seeing a show. We found this amazing restaurant tucked in a strip mall. The server Emma I believe was her name was extremely nice and attentive. I had the chicken blt sandwhich and my husband had the cod. Both meals were cooked to perfection. Finished off with gelato, cake and coffee. All was so good. Make sure to stop in for a great meal when visiting concord .

Alexandra's is a great restaurant! I ate here last night and the food was amazing. We started with the bruschetta which had butternut squash and buratta, so tasty! I had the Ritz cod that came with creamy mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. My companions had the cheese steak quesadilla, lobster ravioli, and smash burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent! I am so happy I found this gem of a restaurant.

Exterior was unassuming but the food portions and quality to price was phenomenal. Properly seasoned, fresh ingredients, and prepared fantastically. Wait staff was friendly, attentive, and provided great recommendations.

Tried Alexandra's for the first time this evening. We would definitely go again. The drinks, food and service were excellent. It is located in a small strip mall but it is worth the visit.

I’m a foodie. Very nice place. Small staff so expect a leisurely. Experience. Worth it. Chowder was good. Fries. Burger and the pumpkin chocolate cake not too sweet and clearly homemade. Too not ingredients service and experience. U won’t regret going. Soup was a little Luke warm but I’m sure they would have warmed to make hotter if we asked. They were very service oriented.

I waited over a year to write a review because I didn't want to share this gem.
With decades of experience behind the line, it's not often that a place catches my interest these days. From the mediocre food to the distracted server, it seems that hospitality is dead. Here, not only do I feel personally welcomed every time, the food is always spot on.
The wings and steak quesadilla are a must try. The entrees, like the brown sugar grilled pork chop, are always executed perfectly. The creme brule is the smoothest I've ever tasted, and they even have my favorite beer on tap!
All this served by the amazing staff, while sitting in my favorite seat, is the perfect way to end a long work day.
