We used to enjoy going to this Applebees, but tonight was our last bad experience we care to deal with at this location. 11/9/25, 7:30 pm. Only two other tables had customers. We asked to sit to the left in a booth, but we couldn’t because it was closed due to lack of staff (understandable). She (host w blond hair and lip piercing, we did not get her name) proceeds to take us to the other side of the restaurant through the bar area to seat us next to the window in a booth behind a customer with her two kids. We asked to be seated just one booth away to put space between us so the kids would not be tempted to stand up and interact with us so the Mom would not have to deal with that. The host said “um No because that section is closed too”. So we had to sit right behind the kids, and sure enough, they stood up to interact with us with toys and crayons in hand. So if another customer came in would they be told there are no seats left, and all sections are closed now?? A waitress/er could not take two more steps to the next booth to serve us?? Didn’t make sense other than an immature control tactic it felt like. To top it off, we sat there for awhile with no one coming over so we got up and left. Only TWO other booths with customers were there. We went to Red Arrow Diner down Loudon Road 2 minutes, and had great, friendly service and food! They even gave us a complimentary pie to take home as a Veterans Thank You! Worked out better for us, but this Applebees is a no go for us now.

I ate here recently, There was only one waitress/shift manager on and the bartender. I sat down at the bar, after using the restroom. I could not find a hostess. I was waited on, promptly. I was served a drink and given a menu. I ordered a 6 oz steak. The meal, came out and was perfect. I had a second drink as well. The prices on mixed drinks is very reasonable. The waitress/shift manager, delivered my meal and provided me with the second drink, while the bartender had attended to other issues. They worked as a team, together! I chatted with both for a short period, during my stay. The drink was not what I would call a stiff drink, compared to small establishment bars. It was still very good to have after a very long day, coming down from the North Country. Overall I would rate them a 4 and 1/2! The food was very good! The service was excellent, Considering they were somewhat busy for two people, they were great in the people department. The atmosphere is the Applebee's Classic, neighborhood style Eatery and this one in Concord is first rate! Thanks, you to the Staff at Concord Applebee's for the end of a tough day that made my life a little easier! I would recommend this location, highly and you will not be disappointed!

Tonight was the last time going got a couple salads and mozzarella sticks waiting 30 extra minutes and the mozzarella sticks are ice cold never going back.

Dropped in for a quick bite and found that they were offering a Special Deal on a Hamburger or Chicken Sandwich meal. For $9.99 you get the sandwich, fries and a drink. Not bad, so I tried the Big Classic Bacon Cheese Burger with fries and a soda. The fries were average, but the Hamburger was so much better than I expected! The burger was indeed big, very juicy and grilled perfectly… Really! And they didn’t scrimp on the bacon, cheese and other fixings! It was really quite delicious! The Pepsi drink had an unpleasant aftertaste, so I switched it out for a Sprite with no problem. Everything considered, it was a good meal for a great price. —I definitely recommend this meal deal while it lasts. Also to be noted, the meal can be upgraded for a few dollars more.

I also wanted to mention Falyn B., my Server. She was great! —Very upbeat, pleasant, attentive and kind! Her cheerfulness was so refreshing and a true delight!

So let’s see…. In a nutshell, this family style restaurant is one that I would recommend. It’s not fancy, but good food, reasonable prices, excellent service and a casual dining experience is definitely on the Menu!

PS. A Must Try! —> The Bourbon Mushroom Swiss Burger! SO GOOD!!! And so glad they put it back on the Menu!

Slow service really was the downfall of our last visit. 20+ minutes just for the appatizer to arrive. Typically not the case at other locations we've visited.

We haven't been in a while, husband wanted to go to try the chicken sandwich specials. Service although the waiter was super friendly was very slow and inattentive. Took forever to get our food then it qas all bad except my husband's chucjrn sandwich. I don't know if he was just stretched too thin the server but he tried i felt like to do his best considering themess this place has turned into. Food was cold, fries everyone's fries were cold my dad's riblets were completely burned and dried should never even been served to us. My mom's Burger was completely overcooked and dry my chicken sandwich was supposed to be grilled they gave me Fried Chicken I also ordered macaroni and cheese with it instead of fries when they fixed the order to grill chicken it was made wrong had the wrong sauce on it and brought me cold fries instead of macaroni and cheese like I ordered. They did comp my meal but it was the worst experience I've had and I've had a few bad ones at Applebee's. I'm not sure we will be back and you felt like you were nagging them to get the right order definitely being mismanaged or poor staff in the kitchen I have no but definitely not what it used to be, very sad Service and food, like the food sits forever no care to serve customers cold subpar food.
