Travel worker here! I’ve eaten at restaurants all across the country and this place is a gem! The lovely lady running the counter was so friendly, made me feel like this was my local go to place. The roast beef was cooked perfectly, seafood chowder was creamy with the right salt level, and that cookie was wow…gooey and tasty. I truly appreciate places like this, they called their regulars by name and made me feel like one too. Thank you:)

We had lunch yesterday and enjoyed our time there. The whole clams dinner was excellent, that I ordered, and the clam chowder that my wife had was very good. The highpoint of the day was when my daughter had paid for our meal and told the restaurant that it was my birthday. The staff responded by presenting me with a birthday dessert and singing Happy Birthday for a very memorable experience.
We would definitely go back to Beefside in the future.

This place is what it is. I get the Reuben, and it is consistently good. My partner just loves to eat here. The junior or senior RB is what he craves! It reminds him of times past. The staff is excellent. Go here with diner food on your wish list, and you will find it! Also, the desserts here are classic.

The pulled pork and sides were wonderful, the service was amazing and very friendly also recommend the corn chowder, the brisket we didn’t touch, the waitress was great about correcting that on our checks aswell. I would recommend them for their seafood and fried food, the brisket may of just been an off day!

Great food but didn't honor promotion/ coupon when presented.... Such a petty thing not to honor a valid discount after we placed or order. I expected more from a well established business I've visited numerous times over the past 40+ years. Do better and take care of your customers
Let's start with the food, the food is amazing it is perfectly cooked, appropriately priced and simply authentic New England cooking I had the baked seafood medley and it was perfect the scallops were perfect and haddock that was in it was perfectly cooked and it was a perfect portion simply delicious. By the way I don't normally use the word perfect this much, but when the show fits you wear it ! I also got the salad which was fresh and crisp. I could have been on Newbury Street in Boston for all my pilot now but with a much warmer kinder atmosphere. Our weight person Brittany was delightful, and attentive, but not so attentive she was bumping into the conversation every five minutes. Our water glasses were full and best of all our wallet wasn't emptied.
We liked it so much we came back with children in tow for breakfast! The Mexican omelette is a must have. And the home fries are tender, crisp, just the way I like them.

We've been here a few times and can say that food and service is always consistent. Their seafood options and BBQ options are always full of flavor. Save room for dessert if you stop. The Lobster Mac and cheese is a favorite and if they don't have that option that day the pork Mac and cheese is a good replacement option. Good burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and fish and chips are just some of the things we've tried.
