What used to be (IMHO) the best Chinese food in Concord has now joined the ranks of mediocre. The last 2 trips (not including our Christmas fest for 8) have resulted in lemon chicken with no lemon flavor and chicken that is very rubbery. The grease tasted old. The pork fried rice had rubbery pork pieces. The crab ragoons tasted like air fryer Sams Club. Only the Szechuan chicken was really good... Great spice. Referring back to our Christmas fest well it was a mix of meh to ok....
This is the first time ordering food from this place, we were vary happy with it. we had PU Pu platter for three ,and pork fried rice and chicken lo Mein , There is three of us and enough food for two more dinners after this one, We have tried other places in Concord and nothing was that good. This place reminds us of the old Hawaiian Isle, that was on Hall st. We will be going back again.
I like this play for the value. I like the food, but it is not a sit down restaurant. It seems to be meant for take out. If you are looking to grab a lunch that will fill you up and give you options, I would say you have found the place.
