Fantastic experience Saturday night at the Granite! The food was amazing and the service from Sarah impeccable! The Chef even came out to greet us! We had the best meatball appetizer, an amazing pasta dish with a side of grilled salmon, and the best bacon cheddar burger we've had in a really long time! Price is perfect for the quality! Love this restaurant so much. Always come when we're in Concord and have not once been disappointed!! Must try!

We had rib eyes and they were the fattiest steak I have ever had. They were under cooked and the only seasoning was garlic. They used garlic as only seasoning on all meals. The scallops were good and risotto. Service from bar was terrible.

Service took forever. We constantly waited for everything - to get water, to get drinks, to order, water refills,, for our check. If service was better, we would have had another round of drinks but it was terrible. Food was good, but nothing to write home about.

.Things were Hectic because of staff shortages. But they honored our reservation and food came quickly and was good. Our Serverer was great

Food and service were outstanding However, the air conditioner was working overtime. I needed to put my coat on to stay warm.

We had reservations for 7:15 on Saturday night. The restaurant was not busy but we waited almost half an hour for a glass of wine and a beer. No water, no bread on the table, nothing. They were out of the 2 domestic (and very popular) beers that my husband likes, so he had to settle for something he didn't really enjoy. We were told they were "out of bread" (really??) so I was given a couple packages of stale oyster crackers because by this point I was really hungry. The fried calamari was average, my salmon entree was okay, but extremely salty. The menu is very limited, but it was a special occasion so my husband got the filet mignon, which was very good, but it was the meat on the plate with some limp, charred broccolini, and that's it. For the money, I would expect at least a salad, but no sides were included. We were very disappointed and I don't think I would return. It was a very expensive, unimpressive experience.

Drinks were horrible. They put our smoked old fashioned in a shaker, didn't smoke it or add the bacon or maple. Food was good but cost was high for what we got

Very disappointing. I was the host of this dinner and the main courses made my choice of restaurant look terribly wrong. Appetizers - Charcuterie & Cheeseboard - EXCELLENT !!!! Amaretto & Brie EXCELENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Main Courses - Extremely disappointing. Short Ribs with Mushrooms - Pretty bad. I could make better myself. My guest had a dish with spinach and a type of pasta. He is a chef. He could not even eat more than a few forks of this. It was embarrassing for me as I was the host. Dessert: Gelato Salted Caramel Ice Cream - BEST gelato of my life! My guest had something that looked like a carrot cake. Very good. Overall Impression - I will not return until Granite State hires a much better chef. P.S. My waitress Kristin was superb. I hope the restaurant advertises when it hires a better chef.

Terrible service and food. Both cocktails had to be sent back. Clam chowder was lukewarm and absolutely tasteless hamburger patty. Usually don't complain, but this was not a good experience. Waiter seemed overwhelmed with 4 tables on a Saturday night.

I was on vacation last week in NH and wanted to take my wife out for a special dinner for her birthday on 8/14 and the Granite Restaurant had been recommended. I got a text on Tuesday 8/13 midday to confirm my reservation and I did so. On 8/14 we drove 45 minutes to the restaurant and when we arrived the receptionist at the front desk informed us that the restaurant was closed due to a lack of staff. She went on to say that someone had reached out to me to inform me of that. In their defense, the cell coverage is bad where we were staying and I didn't get the message until we got back to the car. The woman who left the message, said the the restaurant was going to be closed because of a gas leak in the kitchen (Not a staffing issue) and offered to make a reservation for us at The Barley House (Good burger, but not what we were looking for on this special occasion). Then I had to scramble at 6PM day of, to find another place to dine which is kind of stressful...

Our food was prepared perfectly, service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was pleasant and allowed old friends to share stories and enjoy an excellent meal.

The restaurant was empty; however, it took forever to place our order and to get drinks and our food. The cheese board was very good. I ordered the chicken meal which was two chicken cutlets covered in "lettuce". My son did enjoy the Shepard's Pie.

We came here for our Mother’s Day dinner and when we were sat it took a long time to get greeted by our server and get water. Drinks took a while to come out and when our food came out, the portion sizes were pathetic for what they charged you. I understand sometimes when you don’t get quantity because the quality is good but the quality wasn’t even there. I ordered a petite filet with shrimp and received the smallest piece of filet I could imagine along with 2 barely cooked shrimp. Flavor from the dish was absent and overall this whole dinner was a disappointment and we felt completely ripped off for what we were served. Too expensive and a disappointing meal.

this is the first time in a while that we had a great time all around. The food has been a bit spotty in the last several months/years, but everything we got this time (potato soup, meatball appetizer, spinach salad, and a complimentary serving of the chef's blueberry ice cream and the richest, most flavorful sorbet I've ever tasted) was great! State was very attentive, including our waitress Megan, Scott from behind the bar was very friendly and helpful, Elise the dining room manager(?) was just great, and Rob the chef couldn't have been more friendly and conversant. Looking forward to going back. Since covid, the restaurant has hung in there, but it hasn't been up to what it used to be, but now that it's affiliated with the Hilton hotel chain, and now that they have a staff more committed to making the customer experience a good one, and now that morale is picking back up, and now that they have chef who's focused on making great food, I think we're going to see some wonderful things start to happen!!

The online reservation worked, our server was Meghan, who was excellent. Our meals were the fruit of the sea and the salmon. Both prepared correctly. Bonus -dessert was comped for our birthday person.
