Bland and expensive. Large nachos were tiny and tepid and cost like 25 bucks. Probably the worst restaurant I've been to in a couple years. I noticed other reviews saying the food was bland, and it is. I don't know how a place like this can make food this bland, it is quite an accomplishment. But if you get through the bland meal you're in for a treat...the bill. $125 for nachos, empinadas, and a couple tacos, no booze. Oh, and you have to pay for chips and salsa. And let me tell you, that salsa...bland, surprisingly bland. I dont know what they are doing or thinking but they should read their reviews, nobody likes the food and these prices are insane, especially when the meal was complete garbage.

I have been going to Hermanos since they opened on Pleasant St Ext. in Concord. I go prepared as to what I'll want b/c I want it all. One thing I can't go without is their Kahlua pie!!! Settles the heat down! I moved away from Concord but go back to Hermanos about once a month. I have never been able to find anything comparable. The prices are crazy affordable, the atmosphere is one big party, and the staff are superior!

The food at Hermanos’s is bland and the margaritas are so small they come in rocks glasses. The portions are pretty small, too—no queso on the burrito. They also up-charged me $7 for steak in my burrito when the menu description said “your choice of protein.” It doesn’t make sense because without a protein, the burrito would have been practically empty.

I’m not a picky eater, but the food here had no flavor. I actually couldn’t finish what I ordered because it was all so bland. We paid extra for chips and salsa and got a cup of diced tomato and onion. While the food was bad, our server was nice.

The meal , which was ordered with pork came with 2 Oz if pork the rest of the burrito was packed with rice. Very disappointing. Service slow and sub par. No water offered, no plates with appetizers 14 minutes went by before order was taken.

Hey guys, what have you done to the red salsa?! No flavor, mushy, without onions, cilantro or bits of the green salsa.
Tastes ( or should I say no taste, just flat) like canned diced tomatoes without any seasoning
Whoever decided to change the red salsa, bad decision!

I have loved this restaurant for years. Recently they changed owners and I heard that the quality had gone down. WOW! I heard wrong! Food was just as great as ever - keep going to Hermanos!

My wife and I tried Hermanos for lunch as we are huge Mexican food fans and have been to Mexican places all around the country. This place is up there with the worst Mexican food we have tried. Both of our meals tasted like “nothing.” No flavor and the texture was of reheated in a microwave leftover food. The chicken quesadilla I had was full of flavorless pulled chicken and the quesadilla was not at all crispy but instead very soggy, which is hard to do with a quesadilla if you cook it properly on a flat top.
The only redeeming thing was the garlic nachos which were pretty decent but not enough to make me run back here. I felt ripped off by how much I paid for what tasted like two day old food out of the refrigerator.
I do not recommend Hermano’s and if you are looking for Mexican food in Concord, I would check out Casamigos instead where you will get a good meal.

i have been going to this restaurant with family & friends for years now & it’s always been my go to place for mexican food!
this time was different, there was hair in my food i noticed as soon as it came out. it was immediately taken away & removed from my bill which is good. this made me completely uncomfortable & i wasn’t able to eat much of anything afterwards. this was one of my favorite places but i will not be going back unfortunately.

The restaurant rooms are simple and the atmosphere is very comfortable casual. The food, ah, the food is a wonderful mix of flavors and textures that are traditionally based but so much more complex. Try the Street Corn dip to start, then the fish tacos. It's all good!
