We used to LOVE Ichiban, we do hibachi for all our kids bdays, but the last like 5+ times it has been less than mediocre at best. We prefer their food over Masa in Manchester but will go there instead because their chefs are 10x more engaging. For my sons bday he couldn’t wait to go and they didn’t even offer the kids saki, we had to ask. They didn’t talk the whole time. It definitely isn’t the crowd pumping it used to be

We had hibachi. I loved the food and the preparation was interesting to watch. If you want a private table then go for regular dining. Hibachi tables are for 8 people which means there will be random people dining with you. And if you go in a group then it will be more enjoyable in my opinion. The environment is very festive, but a little loud for my taste. If you don't want to wait for half an hour to be seated, then ahead!

Ordering take out from here was a MISTAKE!! They stacked 5 boxes in one bag causing a teriyaki disaster all over me. Ruined my grey Nike sweats and light blue Nike crewneck I’m SICK! Food was really good though.
