I really hate to give such a low star review, I used to love in a pinch café. The last two times I’ve been in on the first occasion I ordered a curry chicken salad sub, and there was no joke so much salt on it. it seemed like somebody actually poured a mound of salt on my sandwich. I had my friend try. He spit it out. I went in today and was one of three people in there. The two other people in there had complained that it was taking too long. One woman was told her order was lost. I ordered a tarragon chicken sub and was going to eat it in house, but it was a solid 80° in there and I was sweating Just sitting there so I got it to go. Once I finally opened my sub, I realized they gave me the wrong sub and ended up with some kind of bahn mi sandwich that I had to throw away. I don’t know what’s going on here if it needs new management or what but it is an absolute Nightmare in there right now.

I met the owner at a Concord networking event and I've been a committed customer ever since :) He and all his employees were kind, welcoming, and attendant! In a Pinch makes by far the best Pad Thai I've ever had and their spicy ginger noodles and veggies dumplings are a close runner-up for my go to dish!!

First time to Concord and needed a quick breakfast, this cafe is the place to go! Very friendly staff, excellent service and the breakfast wraps were delicious and came out quickly
Ill preface with- i went to culinary arts school and worked in many high end restaurants- and when i ordered a simple sausage egg cheese (they said gouda? I was like hmm sure why not) on english muffin, i was surprised and leery to smell weird smell from the bag, and see some kind of seasoning on the egg 🧐 but WOW that seasoning really makes a great flavor! Nothing powerful or weird but just right! And they have a huge selection of pastries!!❤️ i love my pastries! Definitely coming back.

I rarely rate a bad experience because I prefer positivity. This was a small lunch delivery order for three sandwiches. It was about $14 a sandwich and took well over an hour and it’s right down the road.. when it was delivered, it was literally just three sandwiches, no napkins at all, we were at a job site that didn’t have paper towels …. so we went to our vehicles and scrounged up napkins. In addition to no napkins.. no chips..no slice of pickle .. or anything nice and complementary at all to go with them that would help justify the price. The sandwiches were not terrible but not worth the wait.. I rarely ever say this, but even McDonald’ throws some napkins in the bag.
