This place use to be a favorite. It’s unfortunately gone downhill. I went yesterday with a friend who wanted to try it for first time. She said she had heard good things. She won’t be going back either. The chicken was like Shredded jerky. The panini was as flat as a pancake, and inside was chicken, bacon, onion and blue cheese. Two sandwiches were $26 dollars and had nothing to them. Lemon square was hard and dry. Such a shame because it use to be the best sandwich place in concord. I don’t think the owners care any longer.

The chicken salad sandwich didn't have that much salad. The sandwich was more bread than chicken salad. I asked twice for harvariti cheese in my sandwich, and it was left out. It is too expensive for what you get.

Ive been a customer here for over 10 years. Today will be the last, it’s sad that poor management has to ruin a place that was once amazing!
Ordered a sandwich a week ago and got home and realized it was nothing I ordered and couldn’t eat it due to certain ingredients on it. I called and the “manager” was very apologetic and said I could come in another time for a free sandwich and took my name.
I called back today and the owner got on the phone and was incredibly rude saying I should have returned the sandwich (sorry not driving 25 mins for your mistake). He told me his employees always read the order back (which they didn’t),he said it was virtually my fault and I should find someplace else to order sandwiches. Needless to say I won’t be supporting this place any longer.

Ordered a scrambled egg on English muffin with bacon. Received overdone fried egg with a warm English muffin not toasted. Girl at counter was a little rude. Sandwich had a funny taste tried to eat and tossed. Waste of 7 dollars won't be back again

I feel so bad writing this review. Coworkers and I wanted to check out this place as they deliver to our work. I ordered a salad and they ordered sandwiches. My salad arrived with a sticker on it with a date 4 days prior. the lettuce was wilted, avocados green slimy, and the chicken was hard and shriveled. we tried to call them directly and couldn't get through. If I had wanted a shriveled days old salad I would have stopped at the grocery store, and honestly gotten a better salad for cheaper. When making an order you expect same-day fresh food. I guess the sandwiches weren't much better. So disappointed.
This used to be a welcoming little gem on the side roads of Concord. In recent years, although the food is still good, though lacking the originality of years past, the welcome is gone. On multiple occasions I have been made to feel like a necessary inconvenience to the counter staff. In a small place, a smile and kind word goes far.

Ordered the Vermonter online and picked up a little before 3pm. I added some chips and a lemon square. I paid cash and left. Around 4 o’clock I received 3 back to back calls from a number I didn’t recognize. I never answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize. Two messages were left from a man saying that I didn’t pay for my order and to call back to pay! I paid cash for my order! I would never leave without paying. Maybe you should check with your staff before making such calls. You just lost my business with this harassing and accusatory behavior.
