Appetizers were very good. California roll was good. The tuna was not fresh and couldn't be eaten. The "medium rare filet mignon teriyaki" was definitely not filet and very overcooked. Almost inedible.

A usual, a great lunch at Moritomos. My daughter ordered too much as usual as the Udon dish was huge!.

My sashimi was great and a fair size, and my wife's Bento box was varied and expertly cooked.

Great spot, excellent food, solid service. Sit at the sushi bar if you can, chefs are friendly and knowledgeable

Having never done hibachi, my partner decided to surprise me by bringing me here for my birthday. It was during lunch time and pretty quiet, so to an extent I understand not wanting to put in too much effort, but... The chef was so low energy, it kind of just felt awkward the whole time. I didn't know what to expect going into the experience, but I from what I've heard it's usually an exciting and fun experience. This was just us watching a guy poorly make food. There was only one trick, with an egg, but he dropped the egg halfway through and it splatted on the grill. He silently picked the bigger pieces of shell out of the egg and then mixed the rest into my rice.

He never interacted with us or did anything but silently cook our food after that. My fried rice was very burnt, bland and had pieces of eggshell throughout it. Tiny portion of steak which was a low quality piece of meat. Scallops were undercooked but also tasted extremely poor quality to the point I was very worried about getting sick. I've never had such a strongly fishy tasting scallop, and it was drowned in some kind of sauce too. No point in ordering expensive proteins if they're old, low quality and soaked in sauce to cover up whatever flavor they might have. Waiter was nice but we didn't see him much.

I feel a little bad being so disappointed because I wasn't sure if I was expecting too much, but at over $70 for two people for a meal that was genuinely HARD to eat, and an experience that just made things uncomfortable rather than entertaining, we're not coming back here. I can't speak on the sushi etc, but if I want generic Asian food, for $70 I can go to Man Yee downtown and get like 10+ pounds of food that actually tastes good, with friendlier staff.

Food was low quality. Server was nice. Hibachi was insanely low energy. No onion volcano, no successful egg trick , no sake and no jokes or other tricks. Waste of time and money. Never been this disappointed at a restaurant. Go to Masa in Manchester. Nothing went right except the drink. Even the pen didn’t work, and no one checked on us so we couldn’t even leave a tip. Horrendous.

I went here because Ichiban was closed on Mondays. Food was delicious and staff was very attentive and accommodating. Seating is tight but everything else is great ?

Great food and better service! It doesn't matter if you belly up to the sushi bar, get a table or have hibachi you'll get served something amazing. We had a great time at their hibachi last night, the chef was fantastic!

Mortimos is a solid restaurant. The menu is vast and almost difficult to choose from. Our food (all sushi) was fabulous, fresh and simply delicious. Different seating arrangements from regular tables to the sushi bar to authentic Japanese seating. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. It's hard to go wrong here.
