I've been coming to this place since they opened a few months ago. I seriously need to limit myself, as I can easily go broke eating an entire pizza for every meal of every day. The place is quiet, well arranged, and makes for an easy place to drop in and grab a slice. While it may not be set up for large groups, there's always to option to take an entire pie home and follow their reheating instructions. What really makes this place isn't just the sour dough pizza they make fresh every day, it's the incredible staff that work here who all seem to have a passion for service and the best pizza in Concord. I am a self proclaimed pizza snob, just saying that up front. This is one of my favorite pizzas ever. The crust may look thick and bready - it isn’t. It is delightfully crispy and chewy and airy at the same time. It is amazing what they do with the sourdough crust. We had a pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive pizza. Everything was so flavorful. You must go here and support a fantastic local business.

I make my own Italian (thin crust) pizza crust , Sour Joe's is very different and really good. The crust is surprisingly light. You can have two big pieces and not feel like you have eaten a sofa. Toppings were good too.

One of the best tasting pizzas around ! You will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for dinner, Thursdays & Fridays are your best bet as far as store hours are concerned.
9.8/10 no cap. 0 flop. hand placed basil. its kinda like focaccia pizza.the sweetness of the sauce combined with the crunchy, fluffy, airy, non-greasy sourdough crust all mixed with the perfectly salted cheese and carefully placed high quality toppings result in an symphony of flavors... kinda like that one scene in Ratatouille. Maddone! I can't wait to go back.

UH-MAZE-ZING dough, great crunch, light and airy, a little hint of sour, delicious sauce, thoughtfully placed toppings, they even put fresh dill in the ranch!I will say though, the chicken in the buff chicken could have been crispier, and the overall pizza might be better with caramelized onions like what's on the fungi (constantly's style ?) but even with those notes that specific pizza is still a 9/10 and this place overall is an 11/10!Vegetarian options: 4/9 of their main menu options are vegetarian!Parking: There's a free parking lot a very short walk away, there's also plenty of paid street parking cause it's Concord

Kudos to the owner operated SourJoe's. The pizza is absolutely amazing. Believe me, I'm a bit of a pizza snob. All of the things that makes this place stand out are presumably because this joint is owner operated. It should be an example to restaurateurs that unless you run the place yourself, you gotta at least give a slice of the profit to the chef. This place gives me the impression that the owner loves pizza and real bread so much that he opened a restaurant (with hours that fit his ideal schedule) just to share the food with little ol Concord.Well for what's it's worth... wanted to say thank you! I'm not going to compare this to any other pizza place nearby cause it truly is in a class of it's own.
