Love this place! Our go-to every NY Eve for take-out. Best Mai Tais, great sweet/sour combo. Not that sickenly/sweet pink concoction you get at other places. You can actually taste the rum instead of pure sugar like others I've had. Food is always consistent, hot and delicious! Friendly staff. Wish I could get Chinese like that down in SWFL. FL Chinese restaurants down in FL absolutely sucks. Lived here 9 years and still haven't found a good place.

Genuinely the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. The wonton wrapper is THICK and chewy, not light and crispy, and the filling is even more disappointing in both taste and appearance.
Also, I recommend not using iceberg lettuce to separate the food in the lunch specials. It made everything in the box taste like old hot lettuce.
The absolute worst General Gao/Tso chicken I've ever had. Four big balls of gummy, uncooked batter with a little bit of meat inside, all swimming in a sickeningly sweet, sticky, gloopy sauce.

Food and service was Awesome! But, for larger gatherings the area we were in was super load, the acoustics of the room were horrible. Everyone one was shouting to talk to the person next to them. I outside of that issue, I would go there again in a heartbeat.

My family has been enjoying Szechuan Gardens for many years and we are always treated like family there. The food is consistently delicious and the wait staff very friendly. It's always a treat when we decide to dine here.

Not worth the money spent - $65
Crab Ragoon - dry, chewy and minimal filling that was tasteless.
Beef and chicken teriyaki - dry, small and thin sliced.
House Lo Mein - decent
General Tso Chicken - yummy
We will NOT order from here again.

Food is great here, but no matter how many times I go, The service is only good when youâre sitting in the main dining room. If you sit at the bar, youâll find unprofessional staff. This last visit I waited over 10 minutes to be asked what I wanted to drink, While the two bartenders argued about how to do something, One was making drinks while the other was just hanging out behind the bar Vaping. Then after I ordered my drink (ordered food at the same time) She brings me out my food and ask if thereâs anything else I need meanwhile, she never brought my drink. She says whoops Iâll make that and goes back to vaping. This kind of service happens every time I go. I deal with it because I think they have some of the best food around. But it blows my mind every time that they find their service acceptable.
Great friendly service and good food with generous portions.
The restaurant was very clean. Loved that! Loved the Linen napkins and the paper placemats with an Asian zodiac. That was fun! (Glad to know that my husband and I are a compatible match!đ) Absolutely loved the delicious tea that was offered by a polite young Server shortly after being seated in their dining area. We also appreciated getting iced water without having to ask for it. That was very nice, indeed.
What wasnât so great was having everything we ordered served all at once! âŚSome folks might consider this fast service, but this might mean that the food may not have been cooked fresh and was prepared and cooked in advance; then reheated and served. It also would have been nice to have had a little time to enjoy the appetizer before the main meal, or at least be given the option for that.
All in all, our chicken wings appetizer was okay. The Beef Lo Mein was dry, salty and almost meatless. The General Taoâs entree was also dry and hard even though there was a generous amount of sauce. As for taste, it didnât have much! Everything tasted just okay. âNothing special.
I must mention that the gentleman Host was pleasant and graciously professional, but on the other hand, our main Server was not so nice. His shirt was noticeably soiled, his attention seemed ingenuous and his manners were questionable⌠By this I mean that when he began to serve our food, he placed my husbandâs plate squarely in front of him, but then he just carelessly pushed my plate over to me! Hmmm, Lol!⌠He must have sensed that I would write a less than favorable review about him.đđđ
Honestly, I must admit that I have mixed feelings about the visit, and can âsort ofâ recommend the restaurant. Although the food and service was not the best, their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxed, casual and comfortable. I also must say that the young Server saved the day. âHe was SO nice, kind and respectful!
