Food is great here, but no matter how many times I go, The service is only good when you’re sitting in the main dining room. If you sit at the bar, you’ll find unprofessional staff. This last visit I waited over 10 minutes to be asked what I wanted to drink, While the two bartenders argued about how to do something, One was making drinks while the other was just hanging out behind the bar Vaping. Then after I ordered my drink (ordered food at the same time) She brings me out my food and ask if there’s anything else I need meanwhile, she never brought my drink. She says whoops I’ll make that and goes back to vaping. This kind of service happens every time I go. I deal with it because I think they have some of the best food around. But it blows my mind every time that they find their service acceptable.

The restaurant was very clean. Loved that! Loved the Linen napkins and the paper placemats with an Asian zodiac. That was fun! (Glad to know that my husband and I are a compatible match!😆) Absolutely loved the delicious tea that was offered by a polite young Server shortly after being seated in their dining area. We also appreciated getting iced water without having to ask for it. That was very nice, indeed.
What wasn’t so great was having everything we ordered served all at once! …Some folks might consider this fast service, but this might mean that the food may not have been cooked fresh and was prepared and cooked in advance; then reheated and served. It also would have been nice to have had a little time to enjoy the appetizer before the main meal, or at least be given the option for that.
All in all, our chicken wings appetizer was okay. The Beef Lo Mein was dry, salty and almost meatless. The General Tao’s entree was also dry and hard even though there was a generous amount of sauce. As for taste, it didn’t have much! Everything tasted just okay. —Nothing special.
I must mention that the gentleman Host was pleasant and graciously professional, but on the other hand, our main Server was not so nice. His shirt was noticeably soiled, his attention seemed ingenuous and his manners were questionable… By this I mean that when he began to serve our food, he placed my husband’s plate squarely in front of him, but then he just carelessly pushed my plate over to me! Hmmm, Lol!… He must have sensed that I would write a less than favorable review about him.🙃😊😁
Honestly, I must admit that I have mixed feelings about the visit, and can “sort of” recommend the restaurant. Although the food and service was not the best, their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxed, casual and comfortable. I also must say that the young Server saved the day. —He was SO nice, kind and respectful!

Our two exchange students (Spain and Germany) wanted to try Chinese food here. They've had it before, of course, in Europe but were interested in the Americanized version.
They tried to be polite, but when I asked them how it was, one of them said, "umm, it's not really... remarkable." Hahaha
That's true, the food was at best unremarkable. Dry and overcooked meats and vegetables but still greasy.
The interior of the restaurant isn't really Asian inspired, but there's a surprisingly large, well attended, full bar. Nice place to wait for the takeout.
The older gentleman who took my order over the phone and then later gave me the food and accepted payment was REALLY nice.
I'll try it again sometime - maybe just a bad night for the cooks.

Ordered 2 Pu Pu platters & pork lo Mein for takeout. It was terrible-I won’t go there again, waste of money. Crab Rangoon dried up, lo Mein blah, chicken fingers hard as a rock, pork strips very fatty and they didn’t give me any duck sauce. I’m definitely going back to Dragon Star-their food is delicious & plentiful.

We came in at a weird time, so, maybe that explains the less than great service. The wonton soup was just what we needed, but, the breading on the lemon chicken was as thick as the chicken itself, so a little off-putting (but the sauce was delicious :)
Everybody raves about tea garden, but I prefer Szechuan Garden.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Tiny portions. Teriyaki steak tasted sour like it had gone rancid. Boneless pork so dry I couldn’t chew it and had to spit it out. Glasses on table were filthy. Hardly anyone there during lunch. Crab rangoons were just nasty and hard as a rock. Will never go back! Stay away!!
