They are rude to their deliver drivers. They expect strangers to know their set up.. but if you don’t they get flippant when you ask.. Heads up if you’re reading this , your pick up is in the basement.. parking is unmarked and at your own risk up top on main street.. and the staff want you to walk through the whole place and down some rickety stairwell where they shove the food at you and rush you back out..before the seated clients see you. (We dont actually have to accept your deliveries btw.. so maybe treat these folks running around in the cold on their own gas with some kindness)
Typical good Chinese food place. Good price and portion. Best dish from my order was the seafood hot and sour soup.

Tea Garden's food is absolutely outstanding. In my opinion, it's easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in the state.

Once a week I get takeout. Their chicken lo mein is awesome. Two big servings for $9.95 can't beat it.
When I was a kid this was the spot. 25-30 years ago. So when my sister and I met for her bday yesterday we were devastated. Our server understood no English at all so had to keep getting the host to communicate with us. There was no ice in our waters, before my sister even got there she tried to get me to order like 6 times . I felt rushed even though it was completely empty except a few bar patrons.
The atmosphere is dingy, outdated, and dark and parking is atrocious!!!!!!
The food- the Rangoon and eggroll were good, the boneless ribs were too.
As far as the chicken fingers that were all mush- the shrimp that were all dough, and the paper thin teriyaki? Trash.
Also they had us pay for pork lo mien we didn’t even eat, it tasted like mop water. That’s 50$ I’ll never spend again.

2 entrees of surprisingly small portions and 3 apps (standard and ok) that came to 75$. Dumpling sauce was anemic, like soy sauce and water. A wolverine would get a jaw workout on the beef. Parking out back of the kitchen shows some pretty darn questionable cleanliness aspects of the facility. Will not be back.

Great Chinese food spot in Concord! We got the chicken lo mein and some crab Rangoon. Was amazing! They have a bar, outdoor seating, and plenty of tables inside for large groups. They also have pool and Touch Tunes for music. Outdoor seating is great for the summer or if you want a nice view of the downtown. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. The mai tais looked really good, definitely a great find and good vibes!

We got Gau’s chicken, White and Pork fried Rice, Crab Rangoons, and Chicken Teriyaki.
I always get General Gau’s Chicken when I do Chinese, and I found that these for me were cooked too long, meaning the outside. The next time I return I will bring that up, for a shorter outer cooking time. Some of them were hard to cut. The taste was fine.
My brother enjoyed the Crab Rangoon and said he would order again.
The rice was staple for a restaurant.
What surprised me was the Chicken Teriyaki, it was GREAT. I enjoyed the marinade tremendously.
We just had water to drink as Tea was not instantly provided ( maybe if you asked ) but we were fine with water. The Waitress was friendly and accommodated us for more Duck and Hot Mustard sauces.
Yes we will go back! The portions were good for us. There was soft Chinese rock playing in the restaurant, it was fine, and not too loud. This is not an elaborate place, but can pass as cozy.
Vegetarian options: Not sure as I am not a vegetarian but since it is a Chinese Restaurant I am sure there are plenty of vegetables!
Parking: They have a small parking lot, I think for about 15 cars but don’t quote me. I again am not sure if you can park out front or not. The times I have been there I have always found a place to park. Be careful while leaving the spot you pick.
Kid-friendliness: I did not see any children but I am sure many have been here.
Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a ramp on the premises.

The food was good. Portions have been cut since the last time I stopped in a couple of years ago. The rice portion was definitely less than half what they used to serve. Mia Tia is still my favorite drink here. still good, still strong. The only reason I will keep going here when I'm in town is the drinks.
