We came here to sit and have a cup of joe before heading back to Rhode Island. it was a very strange experience. We ordered a Flannel latte and a single brew and the girl either didn't understand or wasn't listening. My latte turned into a cold brew that tasted like iced tea ( and was the color of) and the single brew of the White Mountain blend was bitter. I tried to fix it by adding some of his black coffee but it tasted worse. We both had to throw ours out. Maybe we just came at a bad time?

This is a great local coffee shop. The décor is somewhat dated, but the coffee and baked goods are wonderful!

I've been going to the Bean and Bakery for years and it's my favorite coffee shop in Concord. There's so much variety-- you could go every day for a month and still have new things to try! Everything is fresh and high quality. Their sandwiches are made to order so they are always hot and delicious (and worth the extra few minutes of waiting if there are multiple orders in front of you). My go-to is a maple latte and breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese muffin. The staff are always super nice and the place is always clean. I love when they have the person in on Saturdays to play piano! AND they have an amazing selection of coffee beans of all different flavors. Overall, the Bean and Bakery is a staple of the Concord community and they will continue to be my favorite cafe!

Love love love this place. So many delicious options. They always have brewed coffee in several flavors, so I just get the regular coffee and still feel like I’m getting something special. They have whole beans you can buy in so many flavors that it fills up a wall. And they’ll grind the beans for you for no extra money! Good service and super cute atmosphere too.

Good, friendly service.
Pretty good coffee.
The food options are lacking if the BLT is anything to judge by. A single slice of tomato, single lettuce leaf, and single strip of bacon are overwhelmed by the thick bread they're served on, not to mention an undersized portion for the price.
Unfortunately, there are too many other excellent cafes in downtown Concord for me to recommend Bean & Bakery.

Fantastic coffee, good NH vibes, plenty of seating! My only gripe is that I hate planet oat oatmilk, but that is a serious nitpick and the espresso was so good I didn’t even mind (which is saying something).
I also wanted to mention I got two of the freshest croissants I’ve ever purchased. I went in around 7:20 and they were still warm!

They always know what I want for the most part. And I know them by name most of them. They are very nice people and the owner is awesome person.

I love this little coffee shop and bakery. My favorite items are the nutty salted caramel latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese muffin (like an english muffin but a bit bigger and slightly sweeter). Their scones are also tasty AF.
It can take a few for things to be ready but that is because everything is made fresh to order, and is so worth it.
You can also get a pourover coffee of any of the beans in the shop, and there are dozens of varietals to choose from. They even have green beans if you want to try to roast your own.
Overall this is a charming little place and my only complaint is that they don't have longer hours.
Vegetarian options: They are willing to customize sandwiches and swap ingredients.
Dietary restrictions: They are great about substituting ingredients for any reason.
Parking: Street parking, can usually find something within a block or so.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of people bring their children in here. Staff is friendly and understanding of the messes kids sometimes make.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not terribly wheelchair accessible sadly. Front door has a curb step up of significan height that would be manageable if person in wheelchair had an assistant. Back door looks wheelchair accessible but has an interior flight of stairs down.

Good place , having lived overseas for multiple years it’s hard to get use to tipping structure at every corner you walk into . It’s nice that they don’t have it forced , for that I would totally be a repeat customer . Coffee is great too
Great place to go to when you're skipping high school, highly recommend for CHS students who want to chill and have good drinks away during the school day.
