The meatloaf and carrots were amazing! It came with a potato and chicken soup, which was so flavorful and filling. I look forward to eating here again!

Would have been five stars for food but few other drawbacks. Limited seating that's not best for us older people. High chairs and table are not that user friendly. The only other negative is the limited menu. The good stuff is, great homemade soup, freshest ingredients. Nice choice of pastries and specials. Broth was plain delicious, would have thought our dog licked bowl clean. Tidy and neat. Jut off main street, down small alley, on the backside. Highly recommend if in the area. No doubt, you will enjoy. Hope to return. Thanks John & Brenda barber

I really enjoyed the food as it was all made from scratch. This place is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone looking for home made food for a good price. Paid $13 for lunch which was a soup and a lunch pastry- enough for me to survive!

You've got to find your way through to the back of the building to find The Clean Take but when you open the door to the cozy eatery and smell the broths bubbling away in the kitchen, it affirms that the path less travelled may very well be the best one after all. Chicken and white bean soup. Bacon, cheddar and sautéed onion pastry. Self serve coffee. Less then $20.00 not including tip. But really really: that soup is amazing.
