We came on half-price bottle Wednesday and sat at the bar. We ordered a bottle of Crossings , a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc . Paul the bartender was very attentive. I ordered my usual which is the Sesame tuna salad. This is my absolute favorite as there is a very generous portion of tuna and so much flavor. For some reason this time we visited the tuna was completely cold, whereas it is normally room temperature. My partner got the duck egg rolls an Italian wedding soup. The soup was tasty but disappointing in that it did not have any small meatballs in it. So I guess it was a bit of an off night for the chef. Otherwise we like coming here very much.

I had dinner on Thursday, February 26 with friends. The food was absolutely delicious and priced very reasonable. Our server, Aaron, was a gem. He was very polite, efficient and checked on us during the meal to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Aaron is a fine representative of your restaurant. I generally like Commonman restaurants but this one seems to be struggling.
The service in the restaurant was not good. The waitress suggested appetizers but then failed to come back to get our order for about 30 mins. It was about 30 minutes after we got our appetizers that she finally asked us what we wanted for dinner. The entire dining experience took much longer than needed. The restaurant wasn't that busy... Not sure what she was doing.
The table was left a mess in between appitizers and entree, with no one clearing the dirty dishes. We went through the water on the table quickly (there were 4 in our party) and finished our cocktails, so we went without any beverages for 45+ mins. When we got our food, I ordered the pot roast as it's generally very good, mine was cold and the gravey had a bitter taste. My husband had the same experience.
I won't be rushing back to that location. Went to the Commonman in Lincoln last month and it was fabulous. 🤷

My family had lunch today Feb. 17, 2026 there was eight of us. We got there around 2:30pm after my mothers funeral service at the Veterans Grave Yard in Boscawen NH. Lunch was great, our waitress Lindsey well lets just say The Common Man is lucky to have her working under their roof. I've been in a few times before service has always been good. I work as professional bartender and taught at two bartending schools for eight plus years. If your in the Concord NH area you should stop in. Patrick Doughan

This place was so good and I had the Asian dish and my husband had a hamburger and it was so so delicious and they have gluten-free options and the waitress was so nice and they're very complimentary and I enjoyed every minute of it I enjoyed the little stories going on in the bathroom I enjoyed the atmosphere the look the pictures everything.

This is our second time at the Common Man. The menu has something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bars upstairs dont have a foot rail and is a little tall compared to the seats. If you are short or have a big set in front of you, you may have a hard time eating over your plate. When the burgers are this good and juicy it can be an issue.

Waited over 45 minutes hour for a steak salad and burger. Steak was cold and it was clear that it sat out in the kitchen for awhile. Burger was warm and clearly sat out as well. Only positive was manager took salad off our bill. We love the common man but food and service has been going downhill for the last year.
