We had the cajun chicken panini, garden salad, and smothered chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff and owner were all very friendly and service was exceptional. Restaurant is very dog friendly on the porch and my pup loved all the attention. Would highly recommend!

Worst dining experience. We were not acknowledged when entering waited 10 minutes then seated ourselves. We grabbed our own menus. Noone came to table after 15 minutes few people had gone and walked out. Food was average service was horrible. Would not recommend. Better experience at McDonalds.

Every time we visit New Hampshire, we make it a point to stop at Ma’s Café in Deerfield. The food is always great, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
What stands out the most is how consistent everything is—from the quality of the meals to the kindness of the staff. It’s clear that they truly care about their customers. Whether it’s breakfast or lunch, we’ve never had a bad experience.
If you’re in the area, Ma’s Café is definitely worth the stop.

Our first time ordering from them and we were very disappointed…
First, the fries are hard as a rock, and the ones that weren’t, tasted like they were old. No taste to them at all, not even a dash of salt. Onion rings were also bland.
My burger was not cooked well done even though that’s how we ordered it. Even my husband and son’s burgers were just okay… nothing stood out as being delicious.
And lastly, my mother’s panini was not real panini. It was slices of toasted sourdough bread… definitely not the same thing.
Plus, they said that our meals came with sides but failed to mentioned that they would cost extra. So no, it didn’t actually come with the meal and we were charged extra (on top of everything else already being a little on the pricey side).
Would not recommend this place… We miss Woods Grille :(

This place has so much potential! We had a great time doing karaoke, the crowd was small but fun and friendly. The drinks were weaker than we're used to, but since we didn't get charged for all is them it's ok. She likely forgot how many we had because the service left a lot to be desired. Just about every time we wanted to order a drink we had to go walk around to find her. And then she would still forget about it. After our food came, she never came and checked on us. I flagged her down finally when our water was undrinkable - it tasted awful and the smell in the plastic cup was so horrendous, we were gagging when we passed it around for everyone to smell - but then server smells it and tells us it smells like water. Talk about gaslighting. Wow, like just admit it smells bad, apologize and get new water. I had her put the water in my empty drink glass because I was afraid of another plastic cup, and THEN the water tasted and smelled like water. The food was good - the chicken tenders were yummy, nicely breaded and cooked well, and the Big Mac salad was a really good low carb burger and always a welcome addition to the menu for me. We might come back, we'll just cross our fingers we get a different server. It's not fair to the owners that they're trying to run a great new place and a few bad apples might be spoiling it for them.

This beautiful new location inside an old farmhouse with diner style food is pleasant and the dining area is large with cozy colors. Food is delicious with a menu serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. They serve food to go and to eat in.

Stopped at Ma's going the "backway" home from Maine to Upstate NY. The decor was great!! Lots of country and historic items that took a long time to see and that was a good thing, because it took forever to get service and food. Although the waitress did say she was the only one there after waiting 10 minutes for her to come to our table, there was only 4 tables occupied, and 2 had their food. We ordered coffee and a soda while looking at the menus. 20 minutes later she took our order along with a table that had been there when we came in. We ordered a BLT and a quesadilla along with fries. We wait...in the meantime another table arrives, (2 people, apparently locals) and they order and are served in the 30 minutes that we're sitting there waiting for lunch. At this time, we had been surfing the web and found someplace that we could order food and pick it up on the way home. We decided to leave $8.00 at the table for the coffee and soda we drank and left because we needed to get home that day. We spent over an hour and never ate!! We could still be there for all I know. Cute little place, I'm not sure if it's like this all the time, but the service is lacking, and I couldn't tell you how the food is!!! Go somewhere else...
