Ate here for a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday. Although there were only a couple other tables full on a Wednesday early afternoon, everything was impeccable. As soon as we got to the table there was a card stating happy birthday for my boyfriend as requested. The waiter was attentive and warm. Never went long without checking up on us ! That makes the world of a difference. For apps we got the shrimp cocktail - was comparable to any fine fresh seafood restaurant in Portsmouth. Delicious ! The wine flight was perfection. We both got burgers, which were one of the best burgers we have ever had, and we have both been around the world. I still dream about this burger. And the fries had the most perfect crunch and seasoning. I will definitely be going back ! Kudos to the chefs and the waiters.

We made reservations for dinner prior to the lights. Ava at the front was so rude. She was playing with her hair and ignored us for about 5 minutes when we walked in. Once she eventually greeted us she told us to stand “over there” until our reservation time. While “standing over there” we watched her treat other employees with such disrespect. She asked someone to do something “right now” and while he was responding she felt the need to say “like right now” several times to him. It was so rude and belittling.

After that, another group walked in with the same reservation time as us and they were seated immediately. I questioned this, as did three other groups.

Ava was so rude, we walked out and had dinner somewhere else.

We did not want to return for the lights.

The whole experience was bad.
