We were absolutely OBSESSED with our Valentine’s dinner here.
From the second we walked in, the energy was just right. We felt so lucky to have gotten a reservation, and the entire night lived up to the hype and then some. The food was unreal… every course was one of those “okay wait this might be the best thing I’ve ever had” moments. Plates were basically spotless by the end.
The staff was warm, fun, and genuinely welcoming, and even the music playlist was a vibe. It all came together in a way that made the night feel really special instead of just another dinner out.
This was actually our first Valentine’s dinner together after three years of both working the holiday, so it meant a lot to finally celebrate and do it somewhere that felt memorable.
We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for such an amazing night ❤️

We stopped in on Valentines night without a reservation and were able to get seats at the bar. The bartender was incredibly hospitable and fun. They had a great pre Fixe menu. The chicken piccata was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfect amount of crispness to it and the caper sauce on top was amazing. We’ve never been there before but will certainly be back. Thanks!

this place has potential but their system of seating people — at least the last time I went — was bizarre. they don’t do reservations, as far as I knew, wrote my name on a notebook and told me to wait in my car for a seat to open up. what if I took an uber there? also, this was during the winter time — what if my heater wasn’t working. I mean yeah, you get my point. I’ve never been told to wait at my car at a restaurant lmao but yeah.
food was okay, service was alright, atmosphere was cool. I just wish you guys used Resy or some other automated reservation system. I feel like it would make your operation go more smoothly and place less work on you guys to write my name down on pen and paper, and then have to call me right after.

Best pizza in town Hands Down! All the food was fresh and handmade! The pasta dish was off the charts delicious! My fiance is full blooded 2nd generation Italian and compared the dish to the home cooked meals shes had over the years! Everyone was super friendly, and courteous. Even though is was a packed Friday night I was told 25-30 minutes, but got all the food in under 20! I would highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't and going back if you have! Will be going again...soon!

The pizza is the best in the state! Their other dishes are also very good. All the food is fresh-made. While the dough isn't gluten-free, the three-day fermentation seems to work magic with my SO, who's sensitive to gluten (not celiac.)
They serve a few local beers on tap, have a decent can selection, as well as a few wines, and well-made cocktails.
Because the dough is made weekly, they can run out by the end of Saturday. If your heart is set on pizza, make sure to check in with them.

Buxtons is the perfect place for a meal worth the price and wait. Last night my boyfriend and I were sitting at the bar and had the Bolognese and trippy pig pizza, NOTHING compared to the pasta. Jacky was absolutely amazing behind the bar all night. Thank you for a good meal every time!!
