Fantastic food! Unique place to eat. Wish there were more places like this in Derry.
This was my first time at the DRAE restaurant . NOW I must warn potential patrons. This is a a TAPAS style restaurant. I believe TAPAS means in Spanish that you and your friends will be sharing and eating appetizer sized portions. Even the entrees are appetizer sized portions. Do not come here thinking you will get a normal American sized dinner. You will be greatly disappointed. With that said. I found the restaurant very small and dim. But the staff was very friendly. knowledgeable and prompt. Martinis and drink selections were excellent. The menu was very creative. The food we did order and share was of the high quality preparation and excellent. Unfortunately. the TAPAS experience is not for me. The portions were just way too small and the menu pricing was just way too high. You will have to judge DRAE for yourself.
Just an awesome place to eat and chill! Come in and relax in their laid back dining area, or have a seat at the bar. Food is fantastic
The food is so so delicious!!! Try the short ribs! Melts in your mouth.we were served by angela and she not only gave us great service, she answered all our questions. Also a really unique singer that added to the experience . Thank you for a great night out after a very long week.
Loved the Tapas, especially the calamari. My Mai Tai was made deliciously!
a little slow. good food but typical tapas place very small portions and expensive. butitwas VERY GOOD!
Small place, cool vibe.
An absolute gem that I would have not expected to find in such a culturally deprived area. Chef/owner takes much pride in each of his creations from the duck spring rolls to the chicken confit topped nachos w an avocado moose. Tapas restaurants are almost nonexistent but such a great way to spend and evening w friend or your loved one empty both times I ve been but cozy enough. If your not familiar w tapas and the high quality of ingredients and preparation that's goes into each dish it may seen expensive but really is a good deal.
Great food. Great band (Amsterdams waiting)
Love their martinis! Half off on Mondays!😊
Restaurantji Recommends
Martini Mondays!! All martinis half price and they are open till 11, highly recommend to any and all martini lovers.
Was here on a Wednesday night around 7:00PM, we were the only seated table and there were about five people at the bar. The bar was well serviced- the bartender was friendly and lively. Our service was awful. For the only table seated in the restaurant we had to wait extremely long for someone to take our order and to come back and order more (as it is a tapas place). I will say the food was great and the drinks were strong but the service was extremely poor. The prices are comparable to restaurants in Boston which is surprising considering how far North this place is. The decor is outdated as well. But again, three stars for the quality of food.
Most excellent food, and drink. The filthy short ribs were out of this 🌎!
Love the atmosphere.. Awesome friendly staff. One of my favorite places in town... Come here with a friend/s or a date..
Great food and best martinis I've had in a long time made by Alyssa! She was awesome, excellent service and quality even while very busy! We will definitely be back again and again!
