We popped in for breakfast today and even when not everything was perfect, we got surprised by the food, super tasty and fresh. Service was good. Those veggies tasted really good and the meat lovers omelet was Loaded! Home fries for the win!

The people were nice but the turkey wrap I bought was inedible, and at 12 dollars too expensive especially with no sides.

Very good! Everything was fresh and good, made to order and with care. A hidden gem in Derry. Good service too and they have water hot enough to make a proper cup of tea! We will be back.

The food at Sun Ray Diner is phenomenal. Their corned beef hash is home made not out of a can. Corn chowder also home made delicious. Omelets the best can't wait to try more things

We came here to the old diner often, but happy to see new owners and a redo of the old space. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I give them 5 stars just for that! I appreciate the extra service that they provided. For instance, they ran out of hash and potatoes, so I asked for fruit and they gave us a beautiful plate of fruit to share and told us there's no charge. We were the last customers in at quarter after one, we also got to take a couple of pastries home, on the house, as they were closing soon. The food was a-ok. I got eggs with ham and toast. The ham pieces were very thin and a little dry, but tasty. I think the ham was dry because it was thin, not like a ham steak. Their hash is a bit on the dry side too, and not homemade, but did the job. I hope they can make that a homemade item in the future. I've got 2 in the family that love it. We will definitely be coming back to this neighborhood joint!
