We were visiting Dover for the night on New Year's Eve. This place was near our hotel. We haven't been to the 99 in years. One of us got the chicken sandwich, spicy sauce on the side. The other chicken pot pie. Both were delicious. I also ordered boneless chicken wings to go and ate them later in the evening. The wings were excellent. They were crispy, breaded nicely and very tasty. We both got Botanical Bloom drinks, on the menu it's made with Gin, we opted for Tequila instead and they gladly made them. The drinks were great. The two women behind the bar were very friendly, it was fairly busy and they were on top of everything. We ate at the bar, there were a few TVs with good views.
Overall the place was nice, the atmosphere was great, the food was excellent and we would certainly go there again.

Food was very good and our waitress was very nice. The 5 five guys sitting behind us were very loud and didn't stop yelling over each other. We thought about moving, but decided there were times we could talk normally. Next time we will say something.

Went twice in a years time difference because everyone deserves a second chance. Pasta bowl was flavorless and tasted like it was premade an hour ago. Filled with water on the bottom. Wife had steak which had no seasoning and vegetables for her side which wasn’t fully steamed. Second and final time eating here

99 is a solid place, just not that exciting. Good for families. Good apps, but nothing revolutionary and some items are boring/meh. Drinks are okay but not awesome. I find they're often out of certain ingredients needed to make specialty items which is disappointing. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and it's never a bad time. It's just not something I can rave about.
So I got a sirloin.. a little undercooked but ok.. sooo tough in my three bites my brother finished half his plate.. it was extremely tough and my third bite it got caught in my throat.. I choked and then after a few minutes got sick in my plate.. I was totally embarrassed and got sick in the bathroom.. everyone else loved what they had.. thankfully I wasn't charged for the meal.. so the response from 99 sent me to absolutely nothing.. I tried to message back and its a dead web page.. thanks guys
