This has nothing to do with the staff or anything with my service when picking up my meal.It is purely about the food. Pork carnitas Mac and cheese... I ordered it with the sauce on the side which I received so kudos for following requests that's appreciated.The issue though is when I did that you find out that underneath you honestly just have some microwaved Mac and cheese with what seems like microwaved pork as well.Mac and cheese was 1 flavor and it wasn't good I would have been happier with a box of kraft in comparison.. even the dish it's served in when I brought it home looks exactly like a microwaveable meal as if they didn't even replate it or serve it in something else aside from what they boxed and bagged it in.The pulled pork just tastes like meat with no flavor no seasoning just nuked meat, I've been poor and homeless in the past so with regard to wanting to waste the food i ate as much as I was able to with the help of the only thing with flavor.. the sauce.. the piece of bread smothered in garlic SALT not just garlic and herbs? Salty bread... I don't know.. to charge $20 for a Marie calendar sized and portioned meal for it to be this bland and awful? My girlfriend shared this with me and also only took a few bites..I've worked in kitchens and I've served amazing food time and time again, this was just a stomachache of a meal.(Picture with hand is reference to the portion of this meal and no it was not heaping upon opening this was quite literally the same portion you'd get in the frozen section at any grocery store but for $20...)

Abby was great and the Almond Butter Cake is amazing. I want to come back just for another slice of cake.
My experience at the 99 restaurant was amazing. Our server, i believe her name was Abby, was phenomenal!!!! Very friendly and kind. the food was so quick too! Not too noisy and everyone seemed very friendly in the staff, overall a very good location and I would come here again if all servers were like Abby!

This is an edit to a previous review for 99 restaurant in Dover NH. The manager of this location, Chuck, asked my friend and I to come back to his restaurant after we let him know we didn’t love our meals. He promised we would not be disappointed and he was right.We visited on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. The hostess that greeted and seated was pleasant. The restaurant and bar area were clean. Our server friendly and efficient. She was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. She was attentive and anticipated our needs; making sure our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.We ordered the chicken fajita flatbread to start and it was delicious.For the main meal I ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese with no blue cheese and extra sauce on the side. The buffalo chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was extra creamy and cheesy. The portions were generous.My friend ordered the baked stuffed shrimp. She chose broccoli and mashed potatoes for her two sides. She also enjoyed her meal. Her shrimp was perfectly cooked. The broccoli was fresh and the mashed potatoes were rich and creamy.Of all the 99 restaurants I have visited in Massachusetts and New Hampshire ( most recently Manchester NH) Dover NH location on hotel drive was the best overall experience.

99 Reasons to NOT go to the 99.Before you may think Im being mean or that I am a Karen, please let me elaborate. It is both with a heavy heart and sadness, but people should know.Both me and my family have been big fans of the 99 since they opened the first ones. It always was a great place for almost any occasion. You always knew the food would be great dine in or take out. The standards were high across the board. The menus and everything looked great, we were actually really excited about this meal because it was for family and Christmas. We never thought it would be this horrible and our very misrerable waitress made me us all so feel rushed. She made us feel kind of like we were bothering her. I said "hey, maybe she had a long day or something personal happened or Maybe she is just not feeling the holiday spirit today". I asked for a Pepsi, no Pepsi no idea why, but we really felt like she was less than thrilled to be there and it felt like I was holding up the whole table because she didn't give me the option to even come back to me after I looked at the many options for drinks on the menu as fast as I could. So okay, We had a Gluten free family member with us. I got the Ice Blue Wedge and some seafood chowder that sounded amazing, my man got the King Tips and fries, and one member got a specialty burger . We have a Gluten free family member who absolutely cannot have carbs. It got confusing. Dietary restrictions are a matter of life and death for many people and not a fad, but hey once again maybe she didn't know. We completely felt like we were putting her out at this point and it was weird to see a whole table of waitstaff just doing nothing. Maybe that's why our waitress seemed so over this. Idk. The food came out fast. Too fast. Which to me means it was microwaved but hey maybe it tasted amazing, no big deal.The awful inedible truth of it.The food. I'm paraphrasing because these are limited. I got my seafood chowder and ice blue wedge in front of me, and my bfs food, the King tips we know and love was put on the table. I know exactly how bad inflation is, but this gotjust unacceptable. It looked like 5 pieces of very dry meat so and they looked sad, they were smothered, it had maybe 2 or 3 slices of mushrooms so paper thin you could not pick them up with a fork, so they stayed on the plate. My bf and share food so I ate a tip and it was like luke warm bubble gum. A tiny pile of 7-8 very sad looking fries came with it. The fries were so cold and gross, its was not edible, McDonald's could do it better. I tried my soup, it was cool, I stirred it a bit and tried again, hoping I guess, and it was oddly too hot, so it was microwaved. Fine. But not edible. The shrimp mushy and barely there, and 1, uno, of the worst scallop I have ever had was floating in it. It was cut so thin, just rubber and tasted like old fish or something so gross, my bf tried it too, inedible. So I didn't get to eat anything and I left it all. The burger for the Gluten free family was light years away from the juicy burgers they used to make. She said Medium and got close to raw. Not edible. The specialty burger was a plate filled with grease and burger dry and gross. We did not complain because we didn't want to bother our waitress at that point. They have gotten so bad, idk if they could come back from this oh and TP in a ladies room is would be helpful, we cant "shake it off". Save your money, its inedible, microwave hot garbage. Such a sad day. And why is there one waitress working and 4 sitting at a table doing absolutely nothing. Not eating, not on break..so sadly an institution is now a horrible place. At this rate by next year, no will come back, I know we wont.Dietary restrictions: Please be aware Gluten is deadly to many people, not a fashion trend.
