Great deck space. A good place for drinks and an app. Food was generally ok, service was a bit lacking but nice enough. The bar crowd was a fun experience.

The only pirate bar left in the area and I am SO grateful it exists. A melting pot of all different walks of like which is exactly what we need in this day and age. The staff is awesome, the drinks are strong. This place has it all. VIVE LA CASTAWAYS.

If you are in the mind for a drink and a view and some live music, then this hommie establishment is for you. Set on the edge of Cocheco River on the backside of Dover, you might wonder at the variety of sea vessels moored below along the docks; marveling at their opportunity to reach the ocean from so far inland. An order of draft beer including a mix of IPA's will not empty your wallet before the evening arrives and the live music ends. The outside deck like atmosphere doesn't last when fall temperatures drop, but their is ample inside bar and table seating to suit your needs. If you decide on Dovers pub crawl, you will be stopping here, as the last stop. Order some grinds

Remember when people did giant shots of Jäegermeister and Jameson’s repeatedly and then got on their motorcycles and rode off at 140 decibles, 3 sheets to the wind? Remember when tattooed, chin-bearded townies took over the bar and looked at you like you were in the wrong effing place when you sat down for a beer? Well if you do and you long for this bit of nostalgia, this is the place for you. Bonus! If you’re downwind you get free exhaled vape smoke in your face from the BARTENDER while you’re eating!
