Great place. Menu must change dynamically with the seasons and food since very few of reviewers pictures were in the menu. That makes it great. They had an awesome selection of their own beers and fantastic food to go with it. I had the C+M meatloaf sandwich and some poutine as an appetizer. Wish I also got the beet salad as it looked great. Really good selection of hard to find bourbons as well. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The food was excellent. Flavorful, homemade and well presented. We also had great service. Drinks were great as well.

Kid-friendliness: We were there with our 4 and 8 year old. Very kid friendly and they had a "smaller appetites" aka kids menu.

Unassuming exterior but they have their stuff dialed in. Service was prompt, friendly, helpful and gave our party plenty of time to chat. Well balanced West Coast IPA and very crushable Czech lager. The harissa stew was dynamite! Will revisit.

Maybe the best bar I’ve ever been to. The staff and ownership are phenomenal. The music and atmosphere are creative and compelling. The menu is dynamic throughout the year and often features local ingredients. You won’t find a better down-to-earth bar vibe within an hour’s drive. Go to Chapel+Main, they will not disappoint.

An excellent local bar/brewery/eatery. Their beer is fantastic and the food is amazing. Highly recommend. Chapel + Main does special dinner as well. The photos included were from the 'Pork and Pinot' dinner.

Was a good experience, until it wasn't. Update due to response/restaurant's comments: Your "can't fix your life" statement just revealed your disrespectful self. What a strange and disrespectful thing to say. I left the restaurant as it was my decision and without anything disrespectful to anyone. The couple did not offer to move, as you say; I was the only one asked, so there's the actual truth against your lie. Your 1 star review sticks. I was happy where I was and yet then felt a little too crowded after being asked to move, as I'm not into elbow-bonking strangers while trying to have dinner.
Not that I owe you any explanation, I have more than one Google account and reserve different account for higher reviews. You'd be on my other account if you deserved a higher review. It's great you offer nice experiences for some folks. I was actually having a nice experience until I was asked to move. I had wished I could've simply continued to have a good experience. It was my comfort level and thus my decision to leave as a result yet I owe you zero explanation. At least you got 2 patrons who got seated maybe a few minutes earlier than they otherwise would have been, despite resulting in losing one patron in doing so, of which whom will not be returning to your restaurant, and also won't recommend to others.

Had an amazing meal here tonight as always. Saw the post from ‘Nor Easter’ and we were here at the same time so wanted to confirm that everything was in fact amazing tonight. Service and food were 10/10! Will back be back soon!

A hidden gem. Tucked in a strip mall, C+M is a great place for a drink or to eat. It has an open 'industrial look'. The bartenders are friendly and attentive.

I had a fantastic homemade tomato soup with crumbled Ritz crackers. This is how tomato soup should taste, like tomatoes!

My entre was mussels in coconut milk, sweep potatoes and harissa. I usually have mussels and red or white sauce but I was really blown away by these. Spicy. Sweet. Perfectly cooked. Hard crusty bread was there to sop up the sauce. There is no excuse for bread and this made the grade.

Lots of parking (I walked there) and an outside seating area until winter sets in.

Dietary restrictions: All menu items note gf, veg, etc.

We ordered the pub cheese with pretzels, the fish and chips and the orecchiette pasta. I appreciated that the pasta dish included chick peas along with eggplant puree, ricotta and summer squash. A lot of restaurant vegetarian dishes are missing a protein and lack flavor. This one was hearty and delicious. The pub cheese, fish and chips and cocktails were also delicious.
