This place is such a sweet place for drinks and some food. We sat at the bar and loved their wine selections. We ordered the brussel sprouts and a burger to share and it was delicious. Would definitely return for a table experience! Nice atmosphere to enjoy it all.

We went to Ember last night with some friends and had a wonderful time! I tried the pan seared scallops and my husband got the Jambalaya. Super friendly crowd, attentive wait staff. I was extremely happy about how fresh and authentic everything tasted (hard when it comes to seafood). Great atmosphere upstairs and downstairs! Super clean restrooms and it was the first time I didn't get lost in a restaurant trying to find one. The owner even came over and asked how everything was! I would recommend to my mother and law and shes very.... never mind. Anyways...5 Stars without a doubt. ★★★★★

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was very noisy and that space seems to have an echo that amplifies the noise. Server was nice but seemed to disappear for long stretches. She didn't ask us if our steaks were cooked to our liking until we were halfway done. A little detail but better to check up front when a steak is served. B+. Checked all the boxes but only slightly classier than Texas Roadhouse with the noise level.

What was supposed to be an exciting night ended up being very disappointing... The food was great, and our waitress was nice albeit scarce after our concerns were expressed. We moved to Dover in September and have been eager to try out Ember since the first time we drove past it. We have 5 kids so finding the time to visit was hard enough, so we made arrangements in advance of our anniversary to ensure we had a table upstairs where the ambiance was amazing. We chose the day and time for our reservation solely around where we could sit, doing our research in advance and adding notes to our reservation. At no time were we contacted with any changes.Upon arrival we were told they forgot they had a rehearsal dinner planned for the upstairs dining room and if we didn't have a reservation there would be a 2-3 hour wait as they were scrambling to move all the reservations for upstairs, to their downstairs area. If our goal was to make reservations, and not care where we sat, we would have made our reservation that way. In no way is their downstairs dining room comparable in any capacity. See photos showing the two dining areas, and oddly enough their lower dining room does not appear on their website which honestly makes sense.Our waitress was wonderful, we did ask her to talk with the manager to let him know about our disappointment and we were assured he would take care of us and make our evening special. I am not sure what was special about the remainder of our evening as our waitress avoided us unless she was bringing us food, or refilling drinks. No one asked about anything from that point. There was nothing special about this evening, which was a big anniversary milestone for us. We spent $160 to eat our food at a tiny table in an over crowded dining room with a perfect view of bathrooms.I am not unreasonable and understand that these situations happen, we let the manager know that as well. I do, however, expect some communication. We made our reservation a week in advance, which included our phone number and email address, if something changed and they were unable to complete our reservation it would have been amazing for them to communicate that so we didn't spend the one night we had free of children being disappointed.

We made reservations in advance to get a table upstairs where the ambiance is clearly better, this was our anniversary so we wanted it to be nice. When we arrived at the time of our reservation we were told they double booked the upstairs so would have to have a table downstairs, I believe they should have reached out to explain the situation instead of waiting for us to show up. I spoke with the manager to express our disappointment and only received an apology. The service was great and the food was delicious. I would have assumed with an establishment like this one management would be more on top of what's going on and have a more proactive approach for handling mistakes.
Drinks were on point. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. Had a formal wedding get together here. Recommend. They were very accommodating and

We went in for dinner and was underwhelmed overall. We had a pizza that was fair, short rib which was decent and poutine that missed the mark. The restaurant was clean, server was very good - attentive and polite, but value was not there.

Our waitress was not good at all we asked for another drink when our meal came and she never brought it to we were done eating and never came to check how things were as well when I was finished I ask for a go container and see handed me a container you would get a soup or something in not a to go container and I know the have them because I saw other tables getting them I had the bolognese which was there take on it the taste was good from what I could tell because it was so hot and stay that way because of the cast iron pan they serve it in My girlfriend had the sea scallops which were very tasty but paying over 30$ for just 3 scallops and way to much sauce the value was not there like the flavor Over all it was a disappointment we went there thinking it was more of a high end place by the prices and it was our anniversary and it was a let down
