Where do I begin?…I have been a customer for over 40 years. Their pork pies, maple rounds, maple cakes, rustic bread, chicken salad, etc…. My dear friend Robert, is visiting from Virginia for the month of June. We usually visit at least three times weekly. I fear we’ll starve now😔 Seriously, everyone here is wonderful, from the daughters to the servers and others. I feel like I’m saying goodbye to family. My son knows how much I love you and got me my last maple birthday cake last month. I savored every single bite 😋. I wish all of you health and happiness in your future endeavors. Dover will not be the same ❤️
rustic bread and maple rounds is there a cookbook in your future? really really need rustic bread recipe and maple rounds;; the best fruitcake ever.
I was disappointed with the hours. Closed Sunday and open from 6:30 to 2:30 Monday through Friday. So nobody actually working 1st shift can go except Saturdays. What a let down for all your potential customers. I used to love their maple squares and apple cider donuts.

The best breakfast place around. We drive down from Wakefield because they never disappoint. The portions are amazing, the food is AMAZING, the price is just right. Highly recommend you ask for the homemade raspberry jelly. 😍
Breakfast, white mt bread and maple Rounds.
I just had the best chocolate cake with maple frosting from Harvey’s Bakery! If you love chocolate and maple this is a must try! It’s fantastic!
While visiting family in Dover, I stopped into Harvey's and got one of their maple rounds (cream-filled round donut with maple cream topping). SO good! This donut was voted one of the best in NH. I used to come here often when I lived in the area, whether it was to have a sit-down breakfast or to get pastries, bread or specialty items to go. They've been in business for 90 years!
The owners the 2 old women with glasses are very Rude, act superior.. would ne er go there again . Food was horrible.. Pancakes came on a small plate and were so bad one bite was enough for me.. Go to McDonald's ...
The cook is coughing heavily into her bare hands and then touching your food with the same hands (literally saw her pick up home fries with her fingers and putting them on a customer’s plate). Bon appetit!
This was an unexpected treasure to find on our visit to Dover yesterday. Harvey's was busy, but our (young guy) server was kind, attentive, and great with the kids. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Some things never go out of style - thanks for a wonderful lunch.

Great place to stop for lunch or breakfast All day until open. The place was suggested by a native that had her wedding cake made there 50 years ago. Fully enjoyed the hospitality, very reasonable prices, we had the Rueben with a fruit cup or a salad for 9.99 and the Wrap It, both very tasty and our surprise was with this reasonably luncheon price you get a free piece of pie, 4 choices, my mouth dropped. Great day trip, nice historical town, we went to Salmon Mills Pottery shop, Featured in Yankee Magazine. Dover has a real good candy and ice cream shop that recently opened quite interesting. Enjoy your day!?
Visited this bakery to bring items to friends’ house nearby! Such a great selection, I had trouble deciding. I got gingerbread men for their grandkids and turnovers and pastry for my friends! YUM!
Went to Harvey’s to sit down and eat breakfast. I’d always had the pastries etc to go during my previous visits. I’m not sure what was in the scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon or French toast-I was sick for a week. Was perfectly healthy going in and the next day I wasn’t. Not pleasant.
Food was terrible! Fried potatoes were day old potatoes and tasted really bad. Sausages were under cooked and very greasy. Eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were like hockey pucks and no yolks. Not impressed at all, and won't be back!
This has the best bakery and very nice coffee shop. I always make sure I go their every Apple Harvest day if not more often during the year. The locate hospital has a cafe in it that carry some of their bake good. I love their maple rounds and my nephew like their candy apples.
