After nearly 55 yrs of enjoying your food its flavor has dramatically changed. I'll admit it's been a while since we ate there last, but last nights pizza didn't taste right or very good. I don't know if less expensive ingredients have been purchased to reduce costs or the addition of the Deangelo's franchise has something to do with it. Whatever it is, something has changed the taste and flavor of the Pizza. I have been a fan of Papa's since they opened the restaurant in the old Newington Mall in the early 1970's. I hope someone looks into this, but I know corporate America cares only about the $$ and far less about the quality of the product and their integrity.

Enjoyed the new D'angelos Papas restaurant at peak lunch rush. The wait was measured and the rush ended quick. I had 2 hot dogs which are grilled with a buttered bun also grilled-$1.29 each, bigger than the bun and n/c, side of cole slaw. We also had the steak sub but wanted the #9-next time. Would definitely go again and if avail. diced onions would add, they offer bacon. The pizza another customer had was enjoyed but looked pale to me. I order well done at the Domino place and I get heavy sauce. Hot dogs now $6.79, 2026.

5 stars for sure - I ordered sandwiches (hot and cold), salads and desserts for a group 30. The food was delivered on time, hot and was set up by the driver. Great experience!

We got take out. Got boneless chicken wings and fries. 8 boneless bites. I have never seen boneless chicken wings so small in my life. Most of them were literally the size of a raspberry. Total rip off. We also got sandwiches. One sandwich, the bread was stale and the sandwich was super dry even though it was supposed to have mayo on it. Only had the tiniest bit of mayo. Not worth the money at all.

I ordered online and was given a pick up time of 3:28. I arrived at 3:35 and the order was sent to the kitchen after I declared my arrival for pick up. I noted that Grub Hub and Door Dash orders were ready for pickup without this issue. Another customer who came in had the same thing happen-the order was placed at his arrival! I went out of my way to stop here because we live Papa’s traditional pizza. But had I l own I’d be waiting another 35 minutes, I wouldn’t have. I still had 3.5 hours of travel ahead of me.
We no longer have a local Papa Gino's so was first time in several years getting to eat at one. Still great pizza: hot and tasty. Friendly and quick service.

They dropped my pizza on the ground, didn’t tell me, had to wait 25 more minutes, no apology just a bunch of girls giggling and laughing
