Exactly what a pizza place should be, the beer tenders are great, service is exactly as expected, nothing fancy, but they aren't charging an arm and a leg either, their subs are good
I ordered an XL cheese pizza. 16" is the stated size, mine was about 15.5". Sure to be some cooking shrinkage. No toppings to distract from the review. The pizza was simply fine. Sauce was under seasoned for my liking. Might just be pure canned tomato sauce with no doctoring. The crust was okay in flavor but didn't give the pizza any contrasting texture. I have been going to Papa Jays for about 20 years. It's a staple of the community. Easily has the best chicken tenders and fries in town. I order food maybe a couple times a month, and in the past few months I've noticed the sizes of their subs(rolls) getting thinner and thinner. I get that there is inflation, but it's happened twice so far where the width of the sub rolls have gotten thinner, very noticeably. The subs are what we usually order but I fear the next...
